This is a great, central, inexpensive space to stay when you see Jaffna. There's a restaurant below- a big cafeteria style front and a slightly hidden secret courtyard in back which is a beautiful place to spend an evening. I would spring for a room with AC, though, if you're new to SL. I was shocked at how much hotter Jaffna is than the rest of the country. The staff are lovely and sweet! Air conditioners of rooms in poor condition. Need to run ceiling fan s together with A/C to get little comfortable.
