I never write reviews, but I have to say the staff at Surf and Sand were incredible. I have a broken ankle and they were so helpful getting me to my room... and letting me know if I needed any additional help, they were there for me. They (I think her name was Julia) even helped my friend find her keys. Excellent guest relations!

Parking is not free for one vehicle, not truthful. Sofa, carpeting should be updated. Looks clean, but old. 3 nights stay, breakfast buffet was same thing every other day. Beautiful in pictures, walking distance to beach, that was wonderful for kids. No cost to use bicycles was a plus. It was nice.

The room was clean. My bed was extra comfortable. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was included every morning. I didn't have a beach view. All I saw was a parking lot and a side street, but the location was excellent. Right next door to Fort Clinch and a block from the beach. The Amelia light house was a one mile walk from the motel. I also found two nice parks in walking distance and the motel also had bicycles available to use. I would stay again.
