It is a dead end cove with only 7 matching homes in the area. It was peaceful and beautiful. Easy enough to get to several marinas and big open water yet quiet enough for easing back in a cove. We loved everything about our stay. The owner was amazing to us, even when we accidentally set off the fire alarm. No fire! Just let a pan get a little smokey when warming up a dinner leftover. We loved exploring the lake, the fire pit and the charming area. To say the sunrise is beautiful is not doing it justice. It was very quiet and relaxing. The house is fully stocked for a family, kitchen has everything you could think of and we successfully made all our thanksgiving favorites. Our 17 year old who was reluctant to come to the mountain trip asked to return for her birthday! My grandmother and mother were born in the area so that definitely made me happy. Not far from stores in case you need anything and short drives to a few other marinas. The property was clean and well kept.
