A good, affordable hotel very centrally located in downtown Oakland and just two blocks from the 12th street BART. Room was reasonably clean, but careful attention should be paid to making sure mini fridges are emptied out and soap/shampoo bottles are filled/replaced. An issue with the shower head was handled immediately by staff. Decent breakfast and free coffee in the main lobby.

The room was clean, nice space. The elevator smelled like urine, which was very unpleasant. The staff also never responded to any of the messages sent through Expedia after the booking was made. Even after checked in and made several requests in person, the front desk staff repeatedly brushed me off and told me to come back later or next day. This happened throughout our entire two-day stay, and our concerns were not properly addressed.
