"Reservation for Engin Otel but you check in next door at Extenso Hotel, which was never mentioned in the booking so I ended up hauling my luggage to a closed door before finding out where to check in. There was nothing posted on the door or anything, I had to call while I was there. Then the AC did not work ! I was told by the front desk that it was not time to turn on the AC in any part of the hotel even if it was summer and high 70s outside. I ended up opening the window just to get some air --it was noisy outside because the hotel was on the main highway"

"AC in the room did not function. We specifically went to this Hilton because the website said it had AC. Certainly, Double Tree - Hilton would have AC, but no. After checking in we find that there is no AC, that it is deliberately deactivated for the entire building because April 27 is considered winter season. Outside air temps are 80F/22C. Rooms were very stuffy. When we complained the staff insisted that they did have AC that worked because the heaters were working. No amount of explanation that AC = cold air communicated the problem. The staff gave us some extra Hilton points to compensate. We ran into the same problem in Cyprus - Central AC deactivated for the "winter" season. Live and learn. "

"Booked the single room for my last night as my flight was early in the next morning. Happy I got a very big room and was pretty clean and a big comfy bed .The bathroom was ok, the shower drain a bit slow. Stuff friendly and helpful. Breakfast even if I was early was good and lots to eat. Metro to the airport was 10 mins walk but with few big suitcases I asked the reception to call a taxi , hotel>airport was 5/6 mins and paid 290 TL. Lots restaurants bar shopping few mins walk . So I can say I was pleased with my stay "
