We stayed in the Family Suite. It was very spacious and well fitted out. Cleaning and towel change daily with water supplied daily too. Within 5 minutes walk to main street with numerous restaurants, bars and shops. Within 10 minutes walk to seafront and ferry terminal. Although close to all amenities it is set in a quiet back street so noise is minimal. Staff were very freindly and helpful. If you are a smoker there is an allocated smoking area between the reception and the restaurant. We were room only but breakfast is available if you wish which looked very good. Would fully recommend a stay here and will definitely be returning.

İt is ok

İt was ok.Not such extrem looking room as in photos,but it is ok to stay for a few days.Bear mind the location is more relevant for adults ,because of street night life.No private parking ,but there are rented parking places which close to hotel.

İş seyahatimiz için gittiğimiz izmirde toplantıların uzamasına istinaden kalmak için tuttuğumuz otel odası gecelik konaklamalar için uygun. Odalar temizdi. Lokasyonu alsancak ve kordonda dolaşmak ve yemek yemek için uygun. Bu kadar iyi şeyin arasında anlaşmalı otoparkımız var diyip normalin çok üstünde otopark parası ödettikleri için tekrar geri dönmeyeceğim.

This was a great find. Not only was it a great value for the cost, but the staff went above and beyond, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. If you've never been to Izmir, it's now one of my most favorite cities of the world. Safe, clean, and the people are very friendly.

The quality of this hotel is beyond what the reviews say! Ozan at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! He got us a taxi and suggested places to go and how to get there. The location is phenomenal! It is walking distance to everything. It is a 2 minute walk to Migros (supermarket) , 2 minutes from cafe's and restaurants, and 3 minutes from the beautiful pier. The room itself was very clean and spacious. I got the King bed Jr. Suite and it was so nice to have a full kitchen to cook meals in and the window seals are awesome for hanging out with coffee. You can spot so many cute kitties outside! Also on Sundays the farmers market sets up right in front of the hotel which is a wonderful experience. There's also an art museum that is a 4 minute walk that's worth experiencing. Overall best hotel I stayed at and I tried 4 different hotels on this trip. Best one in Izmir! I'd go back again!

The staff was very helpfull. The kitchen staff and the front desk is very kind and solution oriented. The rooms are small if you are going to stay long but in our 45 days visit, we adapted and enjoyed very much. The kitchen equipments inside the room helps a lot. Everything was clean and proper. This was definitely the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel. The staff was round. The receptionist was the worst of all. The highlight was when he called me at eleven thirty at night to tell me to go down to the reception to pay him. I can't describe to you in a few words what the man was telling me and in general how many tragedies I saw in this hotel. The room was quite dirty, forgotten hairs and soaps from the previous tenants and of course the room was never cleaned on the second day. And the breakfast was very very very poor, however the person who was there was very kind, he may have been the only one in the hotel.

A little disappointed, but not a bad hotel

Overall, the hotel was fine. No big complaints, just a few minor things that were a little inconvenient. Check in was 2pm, when I arrived at 4pm the room wasn't ready. Only had to wait 15 minutes. The shower and sink didn't drain that well. The bed had 1 sheet covering the mattress and 1 blanket on top, no second sheet to cover me. This must be a Turkish or İzmir thing because it was the same at my next hotel. However, the blanket was too short and didn't cover my feet. Room was very clean and staff was great though.

Decent budget hotel. We were in an economy room which was very small (not enough room to put 2 suitcases). Also the shower in our room leaked all over the floor of the main room. Location was good in that it was close to lots of restaurants, nightlife, etc. however it was difficult for taxis, tour buses, etc. to access. Breakfast was overpriced for what you got. Our room was on the top floor, which was not accessible by elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs. The rooms were clean, however the public washrooms in the lobby were not kept very clean.

I found the riva hotel to be okay but I wasn’t thrilled about the place either. The room needed some work done. I went to cook something on the stove and the light in the kitchen part of the room was burning out and flickering. Online they say the hotel offers a breakfast but the reception never told me any information about it. I went down at 9:00 am and the dining area was empty. In addition, the bathroom was set up strangely. There was almost no space in between the toilet and the shower. I’m only 5’2 and had barley enough space to bend my legs to use the toilet. On my last night of my stay, I learned just how thin the walls of the hotel are. With my hotel room door closed and locked, I could hear a couple across the hall from me having loud sexual relations. It was pretty disturbing. Overall I didn’t spend that much time in the hotel itself cause I was out for most of my time in Izmir but for the price I paid, I don’t think my stay at this hotel was with it.

Avoid if you value your health and safety

The experience is one of the worst I have ever encountered. The room was not fit for an adult to stay, let alone a child (family suite booked). The shower area was covered in mould and the walls were damp leaving the room smelling toxic and unsanitary. We requested to change which was met with challenges - finally we were shown 2 alternative- both with mould in the bathroom. In addition to this, the cot requested upon booking and confirmed by the hotel prior to arrival was not available. Hotel staff suggested to co sleep with a young infant, which is unsafe to do so. An entirely unpleasant experience which I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Avoid at all costs. Much better options available in Alsancak area for similar price.

Tam bir felaketti ve konaklayamadık. Yetkilinin üslubu dehşetti, yangın merdiveni yok, acil çıkış kapıları kilitli, en yakın çıkış iki bina ilerledikten sonra. Asansörde kaldım, oteldeki görevli kız her şeyden habersiz, sadece resepsiyonda oturuyor. Can güvenliği yok, olmadığı gibi yangın merdiveni diye nitelendirdikleri iç merdivenlerin duvarları duvar kağıdı ile kaplı. Çok çok tehlikeli. Üstelik odanın tuvaletindeki ısıtıcı boydan boya paslıydı. Yetkili beğenmediyseniz sizin sorununuz, hiç ilgilenmeyebilirdim sizinle, bakın konuşuyorum, beğenmediyseniz çıkın gidin dedi. Biz de yeni bir konaklama yeri bulmak durumunda kaldık.
