We were greeted with a warm, friendly check in. Thankfully we were given both our rooms a couple of hours early - appreciate the flexibility from the hotel. Filepe was extra helpful throughout our stay - suggesting places to eat, organising taxis etc. We found most of the staff to be very friendly. Great location. A nice walk or 5 min uber to pelourinho. 30 min stroll to Barra or a quick uber ride. Good size gym and pool. Good size bedroom. Nice breakfast. We had one dinner in the hotel...

this is a great little hotel right in the middle of the historic centre. Gilles and his team are really welcoming and very happy to help. Fantastic breakfasts and a lovely roof top bar doing excellent cocktails and tapas.

Excellent location with very friendly and helpful staff and a very charming feel to the hotel. Breakfast was also excellent! We loved our stay and would definitely come back.

this hotel is for the traveller, old style building which may not be to every bodies taste. buffet style breakfast, excellent choice for those seeking something different in a safe area.

Food in general is super super premium. Pāo de quejos at breakfast is something to behold!

The area around the hotel was pleasant. The hotel was comfortable, it was a good choice.

The location is great- central Pelourinho, although its very noisy throughout day and night. The hotel is clean and comfortable. There could be some improvements like peeling paint on walls etc. Staff were friendly but dont speak English so limited communication. Breakfast os brought to your room and was fresh.

The staff were really friendly, excellent English and local knowledge. My brother left his phone behind and the staff ran after us down the street to ensure it was returned, they also handled our inquiries to book a boat to Morro de Sao Paulo. The rooms and the hotel are gorgeous all in an old Portuguese style with amazing windows and beds. The location is great for the old town close to restaurants etc,however we were warned by several people not to go down side streets as it can be dangerous...

We booked this for its location to visit Pelouinho area, Afterwards I read reviews about the area & was little bit worried, but I needn't have been worried. Yes the area looks a little run down but that gives it the traditional Salvador feel. Just a short walk to the centre ( down & up a hill) there is large police presence at the top of the hill & they watch you walk back to hotel so felt very safe, but use common sense in not being too flashy with your belongings. Hotel breakfast was very good...

Such a comfortable stay! This was a recommendation from a friend who previously stayed. I have been to Salvador before so I knew I was in a great area. Loved the range of breakfast items and the room was extremely comfortable.
