Excellent hotel. Best breakfast i have come across. Good selection. Did not get chance to try out SPA. However I expect to be brilliant as rest of the hotel.

What a lovely friendly hotel. The staff are so friendly and the whole experience was first class. So much so we have booked to return next year.

It is a lovely place. The owner goes a long way to make you feel at home: the extra touch of the free drinks in the kitchen was particularly appreciated. I would definitely go back.

The location itself is fantastic, beautiful views, in the middle of mountains, relaxed and family friendly. The location is easy enough to get to, sat nav had no trouble finding it and the mighty fiat 500 rental made it no problem. This is a farm stay, dont expect the Hilton and power showers, however do expect donkeys, horses, cows, dogs, cats and the occasional scorpion (they aren't particularly dangerous apparently) The hosts Matteo and Francesca are very attentive and friendly. The prices...

Skvělý hotel se skvělými službami, vynikající restaurace a milý personál.

We stayed there for 6 nights over Christmas, this was our second visit. I can't express my delight at the service we received, the staff are the best, Jean and Joris on reception, Christina who my dog absolutely loved, the bar man, you name it everyone there worked as a team. The views are outstanding just metres from the Med with an unobstructed view. This should be a much higher rated hotel, however, it means great value for money for us, the guests. I have stayed in 5 star hotels throughout...

Beautiful hotel, not far away from the sea, with good options of restaurants around and a nice swimming pool with outstanding views

Great location, beautiful room, nice host.

La Lanterna is a modern 3* hotel located on the outskirts of Castelnuovo, about a 15 min walk from the town centre. It has a good public restaurant, a separate breakfast room and a swimming pool. Rooms are spacious and comfortable…my bathroom had a whirlpool bath. The staff were friendly and the food good. There were a couple of niggles: neither of our rooms had a working safe and the fridges had been removed, which was a pity. That aside, we enjoyed the stay, thought it good value and would...

The mountain climb up is interesting but well worth the trip. The air is so clean and it is incredibly peaceful and quiet. The hosts were a delight. It is nice to meet genuinely good people. The meals were good home cooked food and we felt we have value for money. It is a quirky place but full of heart.
