The room was clean and well-appointed, quiet and comfortable with a great shower. Breakfast is an impressive spread of tasty offerings and myriad coffee and tea options. The location is wildly great— it’s right off the plaza with the obelisks and the Hagia Sofia. Just wonderful! Well Located. Poor breakfast. This is a very average, small hotel that's not well maintained, even though it is clean and tidy. The breakfast is extremely disappointing and very basic. The little fridge in my room didn't work. The aircon is intermittent. The staff are friendly and great. The room is small, but clean. I had the room on the ground floor, next to the reception desk ... 5 meters away!!! I stayed here for 5 days, and will recommend the hotel to others. It was affordable and is incredibly close to the heart of sultahmet - 3 minutes to the blue mosque! Maybe 6 to Haga Sofia? Bus and team connections nearby, though you might prefer to walk to see the fascinating streets. The hotel is right outside the remaining wall of the Hippodrome - 20 meters away. If you like history this is a big deal, if not it's just a giant ancient stone wall :-D. Breakfast was great, over twenty things to choose from. I have a milk allergy which always limits me of course (there were mouth watering pastries every day that I couldn't eat) but had no problem putting together a new interesting breakfast everyday. Cleaning is prompt and good. I slept in one or the basement room - someone has taken care with the design of the basement room to compensate for the tiny window - the lifting is nicely designed and good. There are signs of wear and tear that have not been taken care of - the bathroom mat was damaged along one side, there was a miss-coloring of the toilet. Clean, modern room with air conditioner and elevator. Truly boutique. The staff led by Mohammed was very friendly and patient about helping us with the Turkish phrases we are trying to learn. The breakfast, for a small additional fee was perfect to get us going each day with a different side dish each morning. The location is easy walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts, and the tram stop. Small very good restaurants are throughout the neighborhood. We can’t praise the staff enough - they really made us feel like family.
