It was a very bad stay
The room was very small . There is a window in the room look at the nothing but pipes and sh.. You can’t sleep because you hear all the noises from the other rooms.

River Hotel is a great value. Friendly staff, clean, delicious breakfast buffet, and super convenient location that is close to a lot of public transportation options. The main drawback for me was that even though my room was supposed to be non-smoking, there were so many people smoking everywhere that there was smoke seeping into the room. I had to open my window & air out the room quite regularly. But other than that, it was a great stay.

Quick check in and very near to tram station. The rooms were recently refurbished, but still small. The bathroom looked good but the drainage in the shower cubicle was slow. The room was cleaned daily as well as items such as water and coffee were replenished.

Wonderful staff and very good breakfast but the rooms are a little too small. The room service cleans very well everyday and the front desk workers are very helpful. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who comes to Istanbul.

Das Hotel ist empfehlenswert. Die Lage ist praktisch und sehr zentral. Das Personal im Hotel ist sehr nett und Freundlich. Wir wurden mit einer sehr sympathischen Art an der Rezeption empfangen, und bei jeglichen fragen wurde uns geholfen.

Im Großen und Ganzen reicht die Unterkunft, da wir eh nur zum schlafen dort waren. Die Lage ist eigentlich ganz gut in Bezug auf öffentliche Verkehrsmittel. Straßenbahn quasi vor der Tür, die Metro und Marmaray sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Was ich nicht wusste ist, dass die Orte Laleli/Aksaray nicht gerade die sichersten Ecken sind. Die Zimmer wurden täglich aufgeräumt aber nicht gewischt. Man bekommt täglich kostenloses Wasser, Teebeutel und Kaffeepulver zur Verfügung. Auf der Terrasse oben hat man einen super Ausblick während des Frühstückes. Das Frühstück ist nichts besonderes aber es reicht vollkommen aus. Das einzig störende an dem Hotel ist, dass die Wände SEHR hellhörig sind und wenn man Pech ist der Nachbar am reden, singen, Fernseher gucken etc. während man schlafen möchte.
