Wonderful little hotel in lively area. The rooms are cozy and the staff is outstanding and super friendly. Only downside is that it was a bit noisy from the restaurant downstairs/street

This was a very nice boutique hotel. The restaurant downstairs was upscale and the room was great. We stayed on the first floor and it was loud from the street noise at night. The location was great and near lots of bars!

Just close enough to Istikal Street to walk there easily, and just far enough to avoid the noise and much of the craziness of the nightlife. Very historic hotel, everything was clean and the hosts were excellent. Highly recommend this place!

Recommended hotel to stay near Galata Tower. Staff is very helpful and room is beautifully designed with all required amenities. Walking distance to Galata Tower and nearby pubs/markets restaurants. A few things to keep in mind. Roads are narrow and may need walking one street if you are taking taxi. Metro is nearby. Will stay in future!

The good stuff: the people who work at this hotel are so lovely and friendly. The place was spotless. They let me leave my luggage for 2 days while I was traveling elsewhere, and were so gracious and generous. The location can’t be beat—it’s centrally located to almost everything on the European side, and so walkable! The downsides: the hotel is in the middle of a very bustling night scene and directly over a wine bar. The rooms are filled with smoke in the evenings as a result. It is impossible to escape, even with the air conditioning on. Unfortunately, the bed is also quite uncomfortable, and the water in the shower never gets above warm. I think this place has the opportunity to become really great with a little more investment, focusing on quality over aesthetic, but I wouldn’t change a thing about the staff.

Great location ,great staff,room we stayed incomfortable and ok big and had clean bathroom .But the room dooe has to be replaced with a sound proof and a strong srcure one. It was a standart bad quality room door. Tha outside of the building needs to be taken care off as well but 8nside well decorate . Over all it was a comfirtable stay and great value of the money, cost affective. If you decide to stay at this hotel you wont regret. Bar staff Miss Sukran also made us happy with the special coctail named "Sukran (meaning thanks for everything from the heart in, Turkish) light,"/ Sukran light. Galata winehouse (inside the hotel)also a great wine bar with food for enjoyment.

While the property was not so easy to find in the first instance as it is on a side street, once checked in and familiar with the navigation, it is a stone's throw from the popular Istiklal Street and Taksim Square. There is a tram stop Tophance and metro stop Sishane within walking distance, which makes it convenient to go anywhere in Istanbul. Even though there are lots of bars and pubs nearby, our room on the 4th floor was quiet as it faced the residential blocks behind. Ask for Room 8 if it is available. The service staff at the reception was most helpful and every request is attended to swiftly. Room is large, clean and we cannot ask for more. Internet connectivity was fast and good. I cannot ask for more at the price that we paid.

Cons: 1. It is a pain to get any taxi. The street is closed and no taxi or transport can access this. With luggage- it is extremely ridiculous to stay here. They SOMEHOW managed to help us get there but we’re not able to help us leave… weird. 2. It is uphill and in the rain dangerous to walk here with cobblestone floors in the path to the hotel. 3. It is super loud at night. Drums, singing, you name it. Hard to sleep. We were going to stay two more nights but it is hard to deal with the noise and lack of transport. Pros: 1. İstiklal street is very close by 2. Large and clean room

I’m not sure why this property is rated high. Nothing special here. Very noisy from surroundings. NO AC, yes it’s false advertisement for air conditioning, it doesn’t work. You’ll have to open the windows because it’s hot and again you can’t sleep because of the noise. Bring your white noise machine.The staff were nice, they helped me with local recommendations and got me a taxi to go the airport. AC didn't really work. The room never got cool. Extremely noisy from restaurant below with the same short playlist repeating over and over every few hours. Staff was very sweet.
