The hotel is an oasis that is super reasonable in the middle of most everything you want to see in Istanbul. Couple blocks from Hagia Sofia and all the other major attractions. The people are very friendly and they are happy to talk with you during breakfast. Our room had a view to the sun rising over Hagia Sofia, priceless! Our room easily fit two teenagers and two adults. Very highly recommend

Extremely friendly and helpful staff! Always ready to explain directions. Tasty breakfast. The location is probably the best possible in Istabul - about 2 min walking to Basilica Cistern, 5 min to Topkapi Palace and Sofia Cathedral. Next to tram lines.

I had an amazing experience and awesome hospitality at Han Hotel Istanbul. Great location and you will have straight access to lots of historical places, Hagia Sophia, The Blue Mosque, Tram, Marmaray Train Station. I really loved their Barbecue House Restaurant. I highly recommend this Hotel, you will love it too.

The place was ok. But i was very angry because the hotel said that they don't have free parking even that it was published in you web site. And furthermore they asked me 100 TL from the evening to the next day . Only after negotiation it became 50 TL.

Unbeatable service from the hotel partner
We stayed at Hotel Han two nights in June 2015. Our impression of the place changed from poor to a warm lasting memory. The family room was cramped with an extra roll away bed and 4 singles. It was a big contrast from our big room at cappadocia with open natural view. We were a bit disappointed. As we settled down, we started to notice the place is clean. Clean sheets and plenty of fresh towels. The location is perfect. Very close to cisterm, hagia Sofia, blue mosque, topkapi palace. We also walked to grand bazaar. What was memorable to us was the warm hospitality. The host helped with our luggages and walked us to the tram station once he learned that we were going to take public transportation to cruise terminal. The uneven pebble street make it hard to roll the suitcase. And we have two elderly and one young child in the group. The help was much appreciated. Thank you again!

The room was no bigger than a dog box. A man could not even stand at the toilet with out having his bottom in the hand basin. 2nd person could not get around the bed nearest to the door the room was so small it was laughable. It was clean.

Staying at Han Hotel was a great choice, and it made our stay in Istanbul so much more enjoyable! The staff was very accommodating. They were very fast in answering emails prior to our arrival, and even more helpful once we arrived, assisting us in getting around in Istanbul and answering all the questions we had! The rooms were simple, but clean. The food was also very nice. We spent several afternoons sipping Turkish tea in their lobby, overlooking the crowded streets of Istanbul, as well as many evenings enjoying food from their restaurant on their terrace. The location of the hotel was also excellent, as it's a short walking distance from Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar. The metro station is also right there, making it very easy to visit other parts of Istanbul! We left very satisfied with both Istanbul and Han hotel, so we highly recommend both!

Perfectly situated in the old city of Istanbul.
Perfectly situated in the old city of Istanbul near all tourist attractions. The hotel staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. The hotel is a little run down but it is good value for money.

Great location
The hotel is in a fantastic location, steps away from cistern basilica, Hagia Sophia and Grand Bazar. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a quiet street. The rooms are very tiny but comfortable. Microscopic bathrooms but new and comfortable. If you plan to you the room just for sleeping, this hotel is the place to be.

The best location in Istanbul
The view from the room window was of Aya Sophia. The manager was very helpful with any questions we had. Breakfasts were good. Extremely good value for the price.

Perfect location
We stayed 4 nights. The staff were very helpful and happy. It was a quiet street and very close to almond the ancient areas. Close to team stop too. Food was wonderful and lots of other places to eat around the area. We loved the bright colourful hotel :)

lie! said he lied for money! said "I am a tourist and have to pay money!" say that parking is free and they asked me to pay! I came happy to Hun Hotel, told me bad! I paid money to be unhappy at Hun Hotrel! Regret I chose this hotel! room is very small! null service! just want money!

It is nice to stay at the Han
The staff for the hotel are very nice. Baha, the manager was a very helpful person and willing to assist in any matter. When I arrived to the hotel, it was overbooked. Baha took me to another hotel within their chain about 200 feet away. The second hotel was very nice and clean also. I enjoyed my staying at the Han and I am planning to go back on July.

I arrived round 11:00 AM and my room was not Ready. Baha, the manager, asked me to have a breakfast while my room is prepared, It was a nice of him. When I left, I forgot my scarf. I send e-mail to the hotel. Baha told me he found it and saved it for me until my return. It was nice of him and the hotel

The hotel was very convenıent. The room was quıte small and maybe a lıttle uncomfortable at tımes but that was okay sınce I dıdnt stay much ın the room anyways. The staff ıs ıncredıbly nıce and helpful! I was a lıttle dıssapoınted at seeıng that the breakfast was not a full on buffet lıke most other hotels, but after actually havıng breakfast I took my words back. Very delıcıous, very fulfıllıng, and best of all there was freshly squeezed Orange Juıce whıle other hotels had powder made.

If there had been two people staying in the room it would have been a real job to find somewhere to put luggage, the bed just about fitted in and the only other available floor space was taken up with a fridge that the cleaner insisted on keeping plugged in even though I wasn't using it. The breakfast was really good and the linen, towels and room itself all clean. The bathroom appeared to have been recently redecorated, unfortunately they'd neglected to fix the ceiling and I was never quite sure if it was going to come down on me. Other than that and the pale yellow scuffed walls, two tone pink doors and door frames and red and black wall paper all going on in the same space I did get a couple of decent nights sleep.

Han Hotel- perfect for short trip to Istanbul!
No one can deny the amazing place of the hotel - next to Basilica Cinister, 200m from Ayia Sophia an Blue Mosque, 100m from a tram stop, near grand bazaar. Perfect! Hotel itself has got charm. Despite of the tiny size of it, hotel will suprise with friendly service and spotless rooms. Maybe not the best choice for families with kids, or a long stay, but perfect for singles or couples of all age! Great value for your money!

Felt like being at home!
I have never bothered to write hotel reviews before, but after having such a wonderful three days at the Han hotel I just have to let other travelers know how wonderful this hotel is! From the minute I arrived I felt relaxed and comfortable. The staff are very helpful, professional and pleasant. It is true that the rooms are small, but for me that added to the cozy feel of the place. The location is perfect, within minutes of the main tourist attractions but also in a friendly neighbourhood. What else can I say? I slept like a pampered Istanbul cat!

Top quality budget hotel!
I cannot recommend the Han Hotel highly enough. All the staff were super-friendly. The breakfast was always served v.promptly and tasted scrummy. My room was quite small but kept seriously clean. I really enjoyed the Han and would recommend it to anyone. Give it a try! You could not go to a better budget hotel.

Good value for short tourist stay in Sultanahmet
Small family-run hotel with friendly service. Compact clean room with old-fashioned decor in a townhouse, no elevator. Room had air conditioning but no TV and no closet, dresser or desk. Breakfast basic but quite adequate. Free wireless internet service, had occasional internet outages. Located within walking distance of the important tourist sites in Sultanahmet. Good value for short stay as a tourist, not adequate for longer stays or for most business travelers.

This hotel is good only for its location (extremely close to Saint Sophia) and cleanliness. The rest is pretty basic: tiny room, basic breakfast. One night there was no water to shower ! Also the hotel doesn't provide tap water in a city where water is not safe to drink.Would recommend only for a short stay (less than 3 days) & low budget.

Hotel Han ligt op loopafstand van de Blauwe Moskee en Haga Sofia. De kamers zien er redelijk netjes uit. Wel wat achterstallig onderhoud, maar niet storend. Ontbijt was goed, waar krijg je een vers gebakken omelet. S'avonds kun je er prima eten, veel variatie. Personeel erg aardig
