Charming hotel with excellent staff!!

Posted 27-Apr-2016
Pros: Everything about the hotel was great. Staff was fantastic, room and bathroom was clean , breakfast was delicious and it near the historic sites.
Cons: none
Location: It's walking distance to historic sites - Sultan Ahmet Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar. The tram is also nearby. Lots of food option
From the moment we arrived at Hotel Amira, we were treated with such tender loving care. AJ or iron man, who worked at the front desk, was very welcoming, super funny and helpful. Upon our arrival, he took us to the terrace, offered us complimentary turkish tea and gave an elaborate introduction of the city. He also helped us plan out our 3 day trip - which as one can imagine was very helpful. He gave my husband a ride on his motorcyle late at night to get food =]. Fatih, who also worked at the front desk, was super nice and helpful as well. He helped us book our bosphorus cruise. Honestly, every staff member we encountered from doorman to server was very friendly and made the stay even more memorable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The hotel was in close proximity to important historic sites. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Can't wait to be back inshAllah!

Cortesia e ottima posizione

Posted 13-Mar-2016
Pros: La posizione.

Great hotel and Location

Posted 07-Mar-2016
Pros: Staff and their hospitality was excellent and very helpful. Great breakfast, nice happy hour o'devours. Good size bedroom and quite at night.
Location: All major sight seeing are walking distance.
We normally stay in large brand hotels but staying at Amira was very comfortable. My only disappointment was they charged me $38 for Ataturk airport pickup (most hotels have free pickup). Upon returning I arranged my own transport at $10 per person

Nice hotel, good location, excelent service!

Great location! neighborhood is probably the nicest for tourist. Great service since they open the door. In my case since day 1 Fatih who received me, help me with very useful tips, had a great time with his recommendations for tours, dinner and haman bath. The hotel facilities are nice and between trendy and classic, the rooftop terrace is a nice place to cool down, have a beer or wine. The evening tea time they offer is perfect to get ready for the next round. Breakfast is complete with a variety that can fulfill guests from multiple regions of the world. I've used the sauna, the wellness area is very well taken care of and they leave a bath rope in your room and slippers so you basically are ready to go. I definitely recommend this hotel.
