The room was small by American standards, but it was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Great Wi-Fi. The location was excellent. The hotel is very close to beautiful Gülhane Park and within easy walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Istanbul Archaeological Museums. The highlight of our stay, however, was the staff. They were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, and their warm, personal attention made our stay truly unique.

Our stay here was incredible! The hotel is clean steps away from restaurants and shops that are bustling, however the hotel is nice and quiet. Has a lovely terrace with great views of the Bosphorus. It’s walking distance to Sultan Ahmet Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Above all, the staff were amazing. From the moment we got there, until we were leaving, they showed great hospitality. We were greeted by Mejid, who provides great recommendations with a sense of humour. All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They provided everything we needed in a heartbeat. We will definitely stay here again.

This is truly one of my favorite hotels ever, and I’ve stayed at many! No gym or breakfast but exceptional hospitality, beautiful property, and fantastic location more than makes up for it. Complimentary coffee and tea are available 24/7, and you can enjoy them in the lobby, or have them delivered to your room or the rooftop. Our room and entire property are impeccably maintained and spotless. But what really sets this hotel apart is the staff, who are all incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. Majid, who checked us in, sets the gold standard for guest relations. Uktan was wonderful in assisting us during the day, and the gentleman who prepares the coffee and tea was always so friendly and accommodating. With so many hotels to choose from in Istanbul, I spent quite a bit of time reading reviews across different platforms before booking. The consistently high ratings, including perfect scores on some platforms, convinced me to give it a try—and I’m so glad I did! An exceptional stay from beginning to end.

We had a wonderful stay at the Golden Horn Bosphorus Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul! The location was perfect, with easy access to public transport and plenty of restaurants and eateries nearby, giving us lots of choices for dining. Our room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the complimentary drinks in the lobby were a lovely added touch. What really made our stay special, though, was the amazing staff. Everyone was so kind, welcoming and helpful, always going out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The lovely sweets delivered to our room on our last night were also such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture, which made us feel truly appreciated. Unfortunately, I can’t remember all the staff members’ names, but I must give a special mention to Majed, whose friendliness and genuine love for his job really stood out. He was always happy to have a chat, making us feel as though we had known him forever rather than just met him during our stay. It’s people like him who make a hotel experience truly memorable! A huge thank you to Majed and the entire team for your warmth, kindness and wonderful hospitality. You certainly helped make our time in Istanbul extra special. We would absolutely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Golden Horn Bosphorus Hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable hotel in a fantastic location with truly exceptional staff.
