While there were some positives, the overall experience was negative and stressful. Pros: – Convenient location – Clean bed linen Cons: – Extremely loud noise from a nearby karaoke bar, lasting very late into the night — absolutely no chance to sleep till morning – Staff offered to move us to another hotel at 2 a.m. I stood at reception for an hour and nothing happened – It felt like they were just pretending to help, rather than offering a real solution – In the morning, they told us It’s like this everywhere in Istanbul.” They knew about the bar and loud music because before checking I saw another guests who was complaining about noise but didn’t warn us at check-in – No hot water and very weak water pressure – Bathroom needs renovation We booked two rooms and paid in cash.
