Streets are most of the time closed within three blocks of the hotel, hard to find, had to carry my bags uphill several blocks. Staff unfriendly. Room was not done one (of five) days, obscure surroundings with no people around from 7 PM on. Dangerous feelings, will not recommend it to ladies traveling on their own. Good things; the elevator worked, close to the grand bazaar. Will not go back even if it was the only hotel left in Istanbula

They are professional. Very Good & Clean Hotel with High grade Quality linen and bed. They provide high quality tasty Breakfast and they are polite, respectful and helpful. I will like to go back again to Eliza Hotel.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 days. Breakfast was good and enjoyed the views in the terrace as well as the company of the cats. Not too happy with the surrounding as it was an old show storage and gets too dark at night. But overall ok

Disappointed as given wrong room and I asked for it to be decorated for special occasion. Bedsheets were dirty, too much noise from next door rooms. Customer service was not good and staff were not friendly.

I came in to this property and was very impressed with the decor and the rooms. I booked a family room with 1 double bed and 3 single beds. The staff here was very welcoming and very nice. The location is great too. It’s about a 5/8 minute walk to the grand bazaar and there is a tram stop too. The staff cleaned my room almost everyday, replacing the bedsheets and blankets. There was a wide variety of foods for breakfast, all very tasty! The staff also attended to every need we had. Our room had a safe and when we had forgotten the safe code we were very worried as our travel documents were inside, luckily the safes had a master code and the staff got it open in no time. Another time I had a problem with paying for the rentable scooters in Istanbul, I was very worried but the hotel staff reassured me and helped me pay. I am extremely glad to have spent my time in Istanbul in this hotel. I will definitely book here again next time I come.

Now, the hotel can nit be reached by vehicles during weekdays from 9: a.m to 10:00 p.m as it is located in a wholesale narrow and winded roadway business area! I was never told about that . There is no wheel chair entrance for disabled people. Our room was overlooking a shabby old and miserable part of the city.

POOR!!!!
Room was very basic, sockets next to bed did not work (broken), fridge never got cold, the cleaning was very basic, skirting boards were very dusty, marks on curtains. Breakfast was very limited, hardly any options.

I booked a Triple bedroom for my family. My parents were happy to stay, the room was clean, Emre manager was always helpful and informative. Great breakfast options, especially location is the best if you want to be in the heart of the city. Also Eliza offers shuttle to airport two ways, Emre was awesome arranging all. However my brother lost his latest I- phone in Laleli bazar, always be careful with your belongings. Front desk tried to help us to do translation talking with police officers, but turkish police officers are useless they dont even try to lift their butt, they even didn't want listen to you. Just be careful with your staff.

Good stuff: I liked the location to the tram, attractions and restaurants. The room was big and clean and had a kettle. Good price. The hotel manager was really nice and helpful. Bad stuff: Breakfast wasn't great, and there was some guy watching over everyone in the buffet area. reaching past you to straighten forks while trying to get food. He was like the Food police. He made me very uncomfortable. Most of the staff doesn't speak English. They don't forward calls to your room if someone calls the hotel for you., even though there is a phone in the room. I found that unusual. It is very noisy on the street and you can hear other guest conversations thru the walls. OK, things to know: The hotel is hard for Taxi's to find. There is no taxi service to and from the hotel between the hours of 7am to 7pm due to the traffic and street vendors cluttering the streets with products and trash.. No cars come and go on those streets. When coming from the airport, the Taxi driver put me out and pointed up a hill. I hired a guy with a motor cart to take me and the luggage to the Hotel. The day I checked out I had to walk up the hill with all my luggage to a taxi stand very far away... several ITEMS ARE MISSING FROM MY LUGGAGE that had been there when I checked in. There are thieves there. lock your luggage when leaving.

Outstanding customer service
Emre at the front desk went above and beyond his job description. Because of Friday prayer the streets around the hotel were closed so there was no way for a taxi to make it to the hotel. Emre then accompanied me and carried most of my heavy luggage for 10 minutes so I could get a cab to the airport. On his own I initiative! Wow, talk about great customer service. I would not have made it by myself with all that luggage so thank you, Emre🙏

Great stay!
We were very pleased with our stay at Eliza Hotel in Sultanahmet. The location was great, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Our room was very spacious, perfect for 4 people. Our room was cleaned and stocked with fresh towels almost everyday. Breakfast was served on the terrace with a view of the ocean, all covid safe. The staff at the front desk were very helpful with anything that we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone traveling to Istanbul.

The hotel is in a good location, near the Grand Bazar, shops and the Ayasophia Mosque and Ahmet Sultan Mosque. The staff are helpful but not very responsive. We stayed for two nights and both nights we asked for a knife to cut fruits we were told yes and that someone will bring it to our room but no body did. Apart from that it was reasonable and clean.

This not a hotel. A house turn into the hotel. My family got very terrible experience with this property. Very tiny beds and rooms. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go by stars. Totally waste of ssss.....

Thank you for your nice comments. We always trying to do our best for our guest. Our double rooms are has normal dobule size beds. Your family tryed to stay four person in one double room, that is why our beds are tiny for them.

10/10 Fantastic breakfast. Emre from reception was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately only negative point: there was a problem with my toilet that I reported several times and nobody fixed it. Great location for all the major tourist sites and traditional Turkish food nearby.
