About this property

Moose Tracks Inn: Family Friendly and Wheelchair Accessible.

  • This cabin was designed with families in mind, and you will have room to spread out in this spacious newer cabin with 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Large kitchen, dining room, and great room with gas fireplace opens onto inviting deck with BBQ. Two car garage has wheelchair ramp into house, and master bath has roll-in shower, and all of main floor and deck are wheelchair accessible. Spacious family room downstairs also has gas fireplace and internet TV, DVD and VCR (but if you're going to Island Park to watch TV, you're going for the wrong reason ;). Bonus room upstairs is the perfect get-away spot for the kids to play. Study downstairs is ideal for someone needing quiet, or those who don't sleep at night. Fire pit and benches are great for outdoor gatherings, and the Island boat launch is only 1000 feet from the cabin, so bring your water toys or fishing poles.

    There are many things to do in the area within a short distance, so come enjoy what nature has to offer in all seasons. Island Park is a fisherman’s paradise, and Henry’s Fork of the Snake River has been called the best trout stream in the lower 48. Henry’s Lake is also well known for its fishing, but there are also lots of small rivers and streams to try out. Summers are beautiful here for boating and other watersports, hiking, horseback riding, riding ATVs, golfing, and tennis, and Yellowstone is only 30 miles away. Wintertime is magical in Island Park with an average annual snowfall of 192 inches. There are close to 1000 miles of groomed trails for snow machines, as well as cross country skiing. Heated garage is ideal for snowmobiles, and wet winter clothes. Downhill skiing at Grand Targhee resort is 1 1/2 hours away. Or just come do some sightseeing and enjoy the beauties of nature.

If used, clean the gas grill and ensure sure the gas is turned off. Replace the covers on the patio furniture, and secure the fire pit items. Be sure the outside hose is turned off at the spigot.

Amazing cabin, fully furnished and a great place to stay in Island Park. It's a bit off the main throughfare though to Yellowstone, but we do a lot of activities in the area and so It's great for us.

perfect home for our group to base their fly-fishing adventure!

It was a guys trip with Grandpa, 3 sons, and and 2 grandsons and they LOVED staying at this beautiful home. Everything was just right to keep them all happy and entertained :) They can't wait to come back for another trip together!

Perfect getaway for our family

The cabin was ideal for our family of 13. The living space was perfect for all of us to sit down to a meal or play a game together. The kitchen was well-stocked with pans and a few essentials, and the cabin was very clean. We loved our time there.

Amazing location!

We held our family reunion here and it was perfect! We loved the lake nearby for kayaking. The neighbors were quiet and friendly and we loved watching the wildlife. The hosts were friendly and gave us great information before our stay. We had no problems during our visit. We'll definitely be back.

Family Reunion Fun

This was perfect for a Family Reunion, fun for ages 2 to 62! Got to tell stories around the fire, play games and get challenged finding Moose . Was a bit tricky to find lake access but we found it and enjoyed a beautiful day on the water. A quick drive to Yellowstone, would definitely stay again!

Communication with Bonnie was excellent for questions. Directions for the cabin were helpful. We noted the distance from gate to cabin was a little longer than 0.9 miles. Kitchen had ample room and supplies.

Great Winter Snowmobiling Getaway!

We loved staying at the Moose Tracks Inn. Great location on Bills Island on a beautiful wooded lot. The cabin was roomy (6 nice bedrooms, 4 bathrooms), very clean, and stocked with about everything we needed. It was a bonus having a heated garage we could park a couple of vehicles in. We had 4 trucks and 4 snowmobiles and the driveway offered plenty of space. We would definitely consider staying here again. About the only thing we would have preferred would be king size beds. We would recommend this cabin.

We loved the house. Very beautiful island. The only thing we would have liked to see is a better way to get in. The one gate key for a large party was a bit of a hassle and building for the lock box is not in the best location. Also we would have liked to have the horse shoe pit and fire ring cleaned up of the weeds so we could utilize.

Amazing!

Best cabin set up i have ever stayed at, we rent a cabin at least twuce a year. Loved how the lids arwa was completely separated from the main living so they could play, teens loved them downstairs hang area. The check out process was the easiest non stressful. Could use a few more hands towles in the kitchen. 2 is not enough for a large group.

Family Reunion

This whole experience surpassed my expectations. I over planned in many areas for our stay. The grand kids preferred exploring the island and playing with games provided. They love nature. Many items I brought were supplied with the cabin. Seven days was not enough time to see and do everything. The family wants to repeat this stay again in two years. We had a professional family photo session done which was a highlight. Many tears of love were shed as we said good bye. Mama bear's heart is full of love for my family. This stay was a success! Thank you.

We had the most amazing time in Island Park, ID. My husband is in a wheelchair and needs ramps, big areas to turn, and a roll in shower. Moose Tracks Inn was the perfect spot for him. He enjoyed the big porch where he could sit out and enjoy the outdoors. There was plenty of room for our family, with big tables, beds, bathrooms and storage. We will definitely go back to Moose Tracks Inn. I texted the host and she was very helpful to answer my questions. So nice and fun.
