Welcome to The Little Chalet — a small, woodsy A-frame cabin tucked into the trees of Island Park, Idaho, about 25–30 minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance.
This is a true cabin experience. Warm wood walls, quiet forest surroundings, a private hot tub, and a cozy loft that feels like something out of a treehouse or storybook.
It’s best suited for 1–3 adults or a small family looking for a peaceful Yellowstone home base — not a luxury lodge, not a party house, just a comfortable and charming place to land after a day of adventure.

We’re located in Island Park near Mack’s Inn, with easy access to:
• Yellowstone National Park (West Entrance)
• Big Springs & Johnny Sack Cabin

The cabin sits in a wooded neighborhood setting. It feels peaceful and forested, but there are neighboring cabins nearby — this is not remote wilderness.

This is a small cabin with an open layout.
Loft Sleeping Area
The loft is a spacious A-frame with standing room in the center and a super comfortable queen log bed. The ceiling slopes down along the sides, so getting into bed is a little snug — you’ll climb in from the foot or carefully along the side.
Cozy, comfortable, and full of cabin character.
Great for couples and adventurous sleepers. Not ideal for guests with significant mobility concerns.

It’s perfect for breakfast, packed lunches, and easy dinners. It is not designed for elaborate gourmet cooking.

The outdoor hot tub comfortably fits 2–3 guests and is perfect after a long Yellowstone day.

• Respect quiet hours
If left uncovered, it can take time to reheat — but when used properly, it stays hot and ready.

📝 Rental Agreement & Security Hold
We use an Airbnb-approved rental agreement and a standard security hold.
The security hold works just like a hotel authorization — it is not a charge, just a temporary hold that is released after checkout once the cleaning team confirms there is no damage or missing items.
The rental agreement simply outlines house rules, occupancy limits, and hot tub guidelines so everyone knows what to expect. It helps protect both guests and host and keeps things clear and simple.
