Great location in Island Park. Close to several recreational activities.

Welcome to the Lazy Fox Lodge! We are located only 10 miles to the West entrance of Yellowstone National Park. We offer views of the surrounding mountains on Targhee Pass, and minutes from the continental divide. Close to the famous Henry’s Lake where people traval from all over to enjoy fly fishing. The cabin offers a nice open floor plan with 3 bedrooms, and 2 baths on the main level with a fully equipped kitchen.

A great place to stay

There was plenty of room for the 5 of us. Kitchen was well appointed and beds were comfortable. Great place to hang out at the end of each day. Wish it was a little closer to Yellowstone entrance and a bit further away from the the main rd.

Lazy Fox Cabin was the perfect spot for our Yellowstone trip! It’s just a few minutes from town and the park entrance, but feels super peaceful. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed after long days exploring. The basement was a total bonus — we played cornhole, foosball, and even a round of checkers one night (major bragging rights for the winner!). The beds were super comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the whole place just felt relaxing. Check-in was easy, and the hosts were super responsive. If you want a fun, comfy place to crash after Yellowstone adventures, this is it!

Wonderful stay. Cabin was clean and roomy. Location to West Yellowstone entrance was perfect. We were close enough to drive in every day but didn’t have congestion on road getting there. Hosts were attentive and quick to respond. We had all the conveniences of home.

Fantastic Family Cabin

The Lazy Fox Cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our family of 8. The basement was a great hangout area; we enjoyed playing bags, cards, checkers, and putting together a puzzle. The loft sleeping was ideal for the kids. Plus it was secluded enough but not too far from Yellowstone. Thank you for a great stay!

Great Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin while visiting Yellowstone National Park. We had 8 people in our group and the cabin had more than enough space for all of us. The cabin is conveniently located, and the kids really enjoyed the games in the basement. Thank you for letting us use and enjoy!

Beautiful home and mountain views

We had a wonderful stay in this home that has all of the amenities that you will want/need. Very clean and spacious with covered decking around the home and large windows to view the mountains. The large fireplace kept us toasty when the temperatures dipped. Lots of space and beds in the loft area for large family gatherings and fun and games downstairs. We would definitely return to this home when visiting Yellowstone in the future.

Very spacious & well equipped. Nice quiet neighborhood. 15 minutes to West Gate. In addition to Yellowstone, our grandkid enjoyed horse back riding, kayaking, zip-lining and ATV rental. Also watched Old Faithfil four times; boat ride on Yellowstone Lake, and loved The Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center.

Great Location Great Cabin

This cabin was in a great location to visit both Yellowstone and Island Park. The cabin was clean. Our kids loved the loft and the game room in the basement. The kitchen was well stocked. I forgot to bring cinnamon but they had a cabinet with lots of spices. Their knives and kitchen scissors were incredibly dull but other than that, the kitchen was great to work in.

We arrived at our Virbo, and it was very comfortable and had many amenities. I forgot my toothbrush and found an extra! The kitchen was well stocked! The beds were comfortable with nice sheets! (Soft and silky) the fireplace worked great! All good!

Lovely Home

We loved our stay here. Great location. Plenty of room. Everything you need for a Yellowstone area base camp. The only downside was no A/C. We are from Florida and leave home in the summer months to enjoy cooler weather. It does cool off at night but not quick enough for good sleeping. The basement was always nice. The loft was always warm. 1 A/C unit in living area would probably do the trick. Would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay for Yellowstone vacation!

Our family really loved staying here July 2023. This is a great place to stay if you are visiting Yellowstone! Only 15 minute drive. So much better than staying in the park! Plenty of space for everyone to lay their heads at night. Beautiful views of the mountains, so my mornings were spent outside drinking my coffee on the covered porch. There is no air conditioning, but you don’t need it if you open the windows. Always a great breeze coming through. The basement has bonus living space, which we used for playing games at night. It’s a quiet neighborhood, with natural beauty all around. If you plan to cook for a large group, you may want to bring a few larger pans. The pans we had were average size. We made it work though. It had a grill, which was a bonus. Fire table in the back yard. We couldn’t use it during our stay due to fire hazard conditions, but very nice addition to the house. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved everything about this cabin. It was just outside of West Yellowstone which made the daily drive to Yellowstone pretty easy. It’s spacious, clean, comfortable. We really liked this property. It was very clean, the location was great (quiet and beautiful views), and the property manager/owner was very responsive. Our ten year old daughter really enjoyed the loft area and basement and the games that were provided. We plan a return visit.
