You will feel right at home while enjoying the surrounding beauty of the area. The cabin is situated on a 3/4 acre wooded lot and is beautifully furnished and decorated. If you are familiar with the area, this property has a lot of history. This cabin is on the lot where IP Bill, for whom the island is named after, had built his cabin. We like to think he chose the very best spot on the island to build his personal cabin. If you enjoy water activities, just step out the door to the shores of Island Park Reservoir. Enjoy fishing, boating, canoeing and swimming on our private, new dock. If hitting the trails is your thing, you have access to hundreds and hundreds of miles of ATV trails. Nearby rivers provide plenty opportunities for fly fishing and rafting and it's only 30 minutes to the beauty of West Yellowstone. Some of the many amenities of the cabin include: \-6 Bedrooms- \--Master with king bed \--Two junior masters each with a king bed \--Two rooms each with a king bed and two built in twin bunks over the king \--A bunkroom with six twin beds \-Full kitchen with two dishwashers, double ovens and fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. \-Hot Tub \-Two Washers and Dryers \-Dish Network and large flat screen LCD TVs in each of the bedrooms and family rooms \-Theater \-Wifi \-BBQ grill and griddle \-Two car garage The master bedroom has a king size bed, a fireplace and sitting area with a gorgeous view. It also has it's own access to the deck overlooking Island Park Reservoir. The master bathroom has a free standing tub and digitally controlled steam shower. There is also a fog free mirror and sink in the shower. There are two bedrooms upstairs. Each of the bedrooms have a king size bed and two twin built in bunks over the king bed. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom with a double sink vanity and shower. There is also a loft area upstairs overlooking the great room and a beautiful view of the lake. In the basement, there are two bedrooms each with a king size bed and an en suite bathroom. Each of the bathrooms have double vanities and a shower. There is also a bunk room in the basement with three sets of built in bunks. This room is our tribute to our old cabin which was on this lot. We salvaged the wood from that cabin and used it on the walls of the bunkroom. This room is so fun for kids and all bunks have reading lights, power outlets with USBs and nooks for keeping personal belongings. There is a bathroom adjacent to the bunkroom which can also be used while enjoying the family room. The family room has a fireplace, 72" TV, a foosball table, ping pong table and a shuffleboard table. It is the perfect gathering place to play games or hang out after a fun day on the lake. Just adjacent to the family room is the theater. The theater seats 10 and is the perfect place to watch a movie on the 150" screen. On the main floor, you can access the mud room from the deck, the garage or the laundry room. There is plenty space to store all your gear in the 12 built in lockers. The laundry room has double washers and dryers and a swimsuit spinner to keep dry your suit quickly. You will love cooking and preparing meals in the kitchen with a 64" Kucht gas range, double ovens and plenty of refrigerator space in the main fridge and an extra just off the kitchen. The giant island seats 8 people and the dining table seats 14\. The great room is... "great!" The enormous windows provide views of the lake that are incredible, especially the sunset over the west shore. The fireplace and 84" TV make it the perfect place to hang out and relax. There is also a powder bath just off the great room in the entry. But you will probably spend most of your time on the gorgeous wrap around covered deck. There is an area that is uncovered in front of the great room so you can enjoy some sun. While soaking in the hot tub on the deck, look to the west and watch everyone playing on the lake or the beautiful sunsets. Or turn around and enjoy the fireplace and TV. You can't go wrong relaxing in the hot tub. There is also a BBQ grill, griddle, and outdoor refrigerator on the deck. There is access to the great room, dining room, kitchen and mud room from the deck. Every thing has been thought of in the design and quality construction of this cabin. You will make so many memories with friends and family in our Cabin in the Pines. Fall in love with Island Park for the first time or all over again from the comfort of this cabin. \*\*Please be advised that the 15 person limit is not just sleeping capacity. There is a STRICT 15 person limit, including children, in the home and on the property at any time. There cannot be any gatherings of more than 15 people on the property. This is in accordance with the county rental limit on the home, and also in consideration of the neighbors. We had a fantastic week in this amazing cabin! The owners were so great to communicate with quickly and easily before the trip, to prepare us for our first trip to Island Park. The local property manager handled our simple questions while there, so easy to text him for helps. The cabin is top quality in primo condition, Restoration Hardware furniture everywhere is all top notch, super comfortable beds with highest quality sheets/blankets. The home theater was so great at night. The huge lakefront dock was perfect for our large surf boat, we also spent the whole day on the grass looking over the dock, on the house decks, or in the hot tub on the deck with views after boating. Kitchen was FANTASTIC, everything you could ask for! Plenty of parking on the .75 acre lot for the boat trailer and cars. The only thing that didn't work was the outdoor fireplace on the deck, but it was so warm in July we didn't need it. We will definitely be back next year. ##### Elinor A. Kitchen had everything we needed. The dock on the water was awesome and we enjoyed our time there even though the water was a bit on the cold side for us Texans. (haha) The owners were extremely easy to deal with and very responsive to our questions. If i had to say something negative... the only thing i could say was the grounds on the property needed a little attention (overgrown weeds) but i think that was more of a function of the time of year or the fact that yard maintenance in this part of the county is different than where we live. The property is remote so be sure you understand that when you book, but its so beautiful there you wont care that you are far away from everything else. Stayed 4 nights in Oct 2016 Archival ### 8/10 Good #### LuAnn F. 23 Sept 2016 #### Very nice cabin in the woods! We stayed in this cabin in July 2016\. Everything was clean and neat and the beds were very comfortable. Our only glitch came when we arrived and the electricity was out all over the area.(not the owner's fault). We tried to use the grill to cook our dinner but the gas grill starter would not work and we were not able to find a lighter or any matches in the home. We had some friends staying near by and they brought us a lighter so it all worked out. We were concerned that it did not have air conditioning but we were gone all day and things cooled down so nicely at night that we were very comfortable. The screen on the cabin door was torn so we didn't feel that we could leave the door open for fresh air but overall it was a very nice experience for our family! ##### LuAnn F. The cabin was neat and clean. Very well equipped. Enough area for the family to spread out. Enjoyed the family room area, the hot tub and picnic table area, and the spacious dock. The reservoir was beautiful for boat rides on the hot summer days we spent there. It was close to some of the things we wanted to do, such as Yellowstone National Park, West Yellowstone and trout fishing. At the end of the day there were more than enough beds for everyone. ##### Bradley P. We enjoyed using the water equipment, well worth the extra cost. Cabin was clean and stocked with everything you would need. I would definitely recommend this Cabin. Owners took great care of us! This cabin is very well-maintained and was perfect for our getaway! There is plenty of space and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook your own meals (pots, pans, utensils, toaster, etc.). The owner was great to work with. We loved this cozy clean cabin. It is far more roomy than the pictures indicate. There is a wonderful view of the lake from the kitchen table and from the hot tub. The new boat dock is AWESOME and HUGE! We were 100% happy with our stay and have made wonderful memories. We will be back! ##### Chris S. Our family rents a cabin every summer in Island Park & although we have stayed in newer cabins We Loved this one so much, It's now one of our favorites. The location is wonderful, the cabin is cozy with a true cabin feel, more beds than originally thought (the beds are extremely comfortable) Picnic tables right outside the cabin where we served all meals with enough seating for everyone, the kids loved the private dock & the adults really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at night with some of the most breath taking views around.. The owner was so helpful while planning our vacation. Thank You so much for sharing your cabin with our family...Can't wait to return next year!! ##### jodie p. Archival ### 10/10 Excellent #### Jeff G. 22 Jul 2015 #### Cozy Cabin with Amazing water front view!!! I have brought my family to this cabin several times over the years and we absolutely love it! From the wood lined interior to the view of pine trees and a lake from the windows, you can't beat this cabin when it comes to charm. There is plenty of parking and it is very private. There is a kids room with 4 twin beds (recently they put in 4 brand new pillow top beds!) They are very nice! If you have never been to Island Park there are a few things you need to know before hand. When you first get out of the car at this cabin there is this AMAZING fresh forest scent. It seems to be a pine tree & wild flower scent that is just wonderful. Second, you will fall in love with the area like my family has. Every time we visit, my mind starts trying to figure out how I can live there year round. Last, if you are looking for a place to make you forget about the city and just relax, this is the place. To top it off, when you want to stay in a cabin there are lots of choices. We love this cabin because it is a cabin, not a house on a lake that basically looks like home. I live in a house with dry wall walls and I see that every day. When I want to go to a cabin, we stay here and relish this charming cabin that actually looks like a cabin should. ##### Jeff G. Archival ### 10/10 Excellent 21 Jul 2015 #### Perfect Vacation Spot We loved this special cabin spot. Lovely lot, cozy cabin, and wonderful lake. We saw lots of wildlife-moose, blue heron, bald, eagle, cormorants, and pelicans. The view as the sun goes down is amazing from the new dock. Lots of fun waterskiing, jet skiing, and fishing. So close to many wonderful spots such as Yellowstone Park, Virginia City, Henry's Lake, Harriman Park, and Big Springs. Perfect!
