What to bring with you!- You're coming to a wilderness area to vacation and if you plan your vacation well you will have a positive experience. In the summertime May and through the middle of June can tend to be cooler early morning and toward the evening hours. Make sure to bring a jacket and long pants you can change into when needed. Bring a pair of tie up shoes to protect your feet. Shoes likes flip flops or sandals will not protect your feet when you are out exploring. Layering your clothing is a good idea and then if your too warm you can take off clothing as needed. At least this way when departing your cabin early morning to go site seeing you will have what you need with you. July and August are pretty warm and you should still bring a light jacket. The rest of the year you will want to bring heavier jackets and long underwear, snow suits etc. You will need to bring your private toiletries like bar soap and shampoo as we do not provide this for you. Cabins are equipped with everything else you should need except food of course. Snow tires and four-wheel-drive are recommended for traveling in Eastern Idaho during the winter. Road conditions can change quickly, and even well-traveled highways are occasionally closed by blizzards or high winds. Before setting out, check the Transportation Department's website or call 511 for an automated, up-to-the-minute status of all thoroughfares. Wise motorists will also carry emergency gear (shovel, snack bars, water, blankets) in their vehicles to be ready for any contingency. Coming Snowmobiling? A reminder to anyone traveling back country areas whether skiing, snowmobiling or hiking: Remember the time of year, exercising all back country cautions. Take necessary equipment and survival gear when venturing into the back country. If you have a GPS and cell phone, be sure to take them with you, but do not rely on them entirely for a safe rescue if you find yourself in trouble or stranded. Cell phones should be kept close to your body & turned off to keep the battery full, so it's not searching for a signal & running the battery down. Avalanche Transceivers and equipment, knowing what the avalanche conditions are, and knowing skills to save lives are a must for everyone entering back country riding or traveling. Plan ahead. Make sure you know the area you are going into before heading into it. If you find yourself in trouble, stop, take a look around you, and do not go any further. The further you go the more complicated and dangerous it is to get yourself to safety, also making rescue efforts more difficult and dangerous. Make mental notes in relation to any physical features or landmarks that would assist in your rescue. Make a plan, stick to your plan, narrow the riding area, & most of all...let someone know WHERE you are planning to go!

Absolutely beauty place. Clean, responsive hosts. Hot tub was wonderful! Parking is tight! But we do own a large van. Beds a bit hard, but that could be personal preference. Would absolutely stay again!
My family and I had a wonderful time staying in the cabin for the few days we were there. It was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. The hot tub was great!
We arrived late and in the dark. The cabin was lit which helped us find our cabin in the dark. The cabin was cozy and clean. The hot tub was the perfect temperature and well maintained. The main room is large with a jetted tub. The cabin was well stocked with bed linens and towels. We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin is located very close to other cabins so there isn’t much privacy outside.
Only real downside was the lack of mountain views; however the property was clean, beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking.
Would certainly book again.
Everything was very clean. There was a very stinky musty smell. TV's are way to small for the rooms. Stair treads are loose. Blinds are broke. It just needs a little TLC.
Our group of six stayed for five nights to ride snowmobiles in the area. The cabin was the perfect size for our group and the outside hot tub was an added treat after a long day on the trails. The cabin was clean and as described in the listing. The only downside was the lack of vehicle, trailer and snowmobile parking. We had to pay the adjoining resort to park our vehicles and trailers. The lodge (food/drink) near the property was very nice with excellent service from the owners. We would definitely stay again!
Great cabin! Well equipped kitchen, ample towels, etc. the only complaint (if you can call it a complaint!) is that the property is not at all remote. There are houses within 30 feet of the property. You can see people’s facial expressions in their hot tub from your kitchen window. Again, a fabulous cabin, but the photos do make it seem a bit remote or isolated and it absolutely is not.
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The size was perfect for us and our 3 grandkids. Here are my complaints, some aren't really a big deal though. First was that the other cabins are fairly close together. You can hear other people outside when the windows are open. It kinda spoils the whole out in the woods feel. We were also a little disappointed that there was no firepit to roast marshmallows. They had everything we needed on the inside but we like to cook and all the utensils, knives, dishes etc are really cheap quality. Like the spatula was melting, the mugs got extremely hot when microwaved and the knives didn't cut. So here are the positives: We loved the layout with the master upstairs and the other two on the main. It was great having laundry facilities, the hot tub was very nice (although leaked with jets on), the deck was amazing. We like the close proximity to everything in Island Park as well. The interior is beautiful, clean and nicely decorated.
Great place ! Cabin was comfy and cozy , hot tub was very nice ! Will definitely stay again ! We had a group of 6 and it was great bedrooms were nice beds were comfy !
This was a spacious well equipped cabin that we enjoyed very much. It was beautiful inside and out. The hot tub was very relaxing in the evenings after our long days in Yellowstone. The drive to the West Entrance was a 25 minute easy drive.
We loved this place. It offered plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 kids under 2. We loved using the hot tub and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could need. My only complaint was the parking. The instructions said each place offered a driveway long enough for 2 cars but ours was only long enough for 1 vehicle. There wasn’t clear instructions on where to put our other vehicle. It rained most of the time we were there so parking at the lodge and walking to the car with 2 small children wasn’t an option.
