"We could not recommend this house enough! This place is better than the photos online and we were soooo over the moon happy with our stay! The hosts live on the property and are the nicest people and so helpful with any needs onsite and around town. The house was so clean and equipped with everything we need for a comfortable stay. The only thing I could say is make sure you follow the pin drop/directions the host sends you because we had a bit of a hard time finding it, but once we found it we...

Pure Formosa Concept Hotel

Olhão Historic Center

10/10 Excellent

A fantastic and spotlessly clean hotel. We stayed here for a week at the start of March. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best, which meant the rooftop bar and pool area was closed for the first couple of days. Despite the weather, Olhao is a lovely little town with enough bars and restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel. We hired a car to explore the area and towards the Spanish border, and we were always able to find a free parking space in the surrounding streets around the...

Real Marina Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent

This was one of those places that is a pleasant surprise, not because of anything major, but because everything is done well, and without fuss or annoyance. The staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive or overbearing, the hotel is clean and well maintained in both private and public areas. The food is good and the location is convenient for both local facilities and travel further afield.

Quinta dos Poetas Nature Hotel & Apartments

Olhao

10/10 Excellent

This Hotel is a family run business with a focus on hospitality and friendliness. The room was adequate for what we wanted but was old fashioned with a small balcony. Everything else about this hotel was exceptional, the pool area, the breakfast, the cuisine all 5 star. Then you walk out of the pool area into the very well kept gardens and the ponds. Within the ponds you find an array of friendly turtles, if you remember to take a few slices of bread from the breakfast table these turtles...

Absolutely lovely place to stay. The staff are lovely. The room was right sized and clean. Every part of the common areas was also very clean. The breakfast was also very good with a wide range only options The only bit of a small bother was the location which is a bit away from the main attractions. But the hotel provides a pick up and drop option. Although you are best off if you have your own car

Great local hotel within easy walking distance from the train station in Tavira. Friendly welcoming staff on arrival and throughout our 4 night stay. Comfortable modern room with smart new bathroom and balcony overlooking well kept gardens. Decent sized outdoor swimming pool for a relaxing dip on an afternoon. Delicious breakfast with fresh fruit, nice selection of breads and choice of local speciality cakes & pastries. Brilliant value for money but a little bit on the outskirts of town so if...

Perfect location to get to the lovely sandy beach. The staff at the resort are very good and professional also speaks very good English. Supermercado and the staff are very friendly and gave me a welcome as they remember me last few years, is ideal when to get something needed. And to get food for dinner at the studio apartment. The facility in the kitchen is very well provided with oven, fridge freezer, microwave oven that I do not use at all do not even have one at home! The view from the...

We stayed to be close to the airport for our final night and arriving here felt like a little slice of heaven! Wonferfully helpful staff, a beautuful rooftop bar with amazing food and cocktails with a perfect beach view. We stayed in the premium room and the view was stunning, we were very lucky to be allowed an early check in as thr previous guest had left early. We were offered beach towels and an umbrella and the hotel is a 10 minute walk away from a ferry ride into Faro. Coming back we took...

Quinta do Morgado - Monte da Eira

Tavira

10/10 Excellent

Well laid out resort with 4 swimming pools, restaurant and cocktail bar. A mini market at the beginning of the resort, well stocked with all your holidays needs. The appartment was very comfortable, very clean and sheets and towels changed on a regular basis. The resort is about a 20 minute flat walk into Tavira town, but not a very pleasant walk as there is a pavement only part of the way and some rough ground. There are local buses but don't run very regularly. We used taxis most of the time...
