"We had a great 3 night stay at Guest Mar. The staff were super friendly and helpful - the breakfast was delicious and it was very handy to be able to use the kitchen throughout the day. Comfortable bed and a good shower. Space was a bit tight in our room, but it was workable. We made use of the shared spaces - rooftop, kitchen and reading room. All in all a lovely guesthouse."

"We had an amazing stay at Vila Milreu! We were made to feel very welcome even when we arrived really late. The staff are brilliant and extremely friendly. The hotel is gorgeous, especially the pool area. The grounds are beautiful. The whole hotel had a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious and filling with plenty of different foods to choose from. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again if we were in the area."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was in an excellent location in a quiet area but also near the train station and the town. The hosts Cláudia and Luis have put a lot of time and effort into ensuring the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with freshly baked bread, homemade jam and good quality coffee. Arrived late at night, and left in the morning for a week long road trip BUT this place was a short ride from the airport, clear instructions for gaining access, everything clean and well maintained, nice breakfast array in the morning. Was a quick walk to marina. Would definitely choose again for a longer stay."

"Wonderful place to stay. Chantale et Jean Paul very sweet, welcoming, extremely helpful and attentive. Truly a boutique hotel in best sense of the word. An oasis in the area of quiet, calm, peaceful garden with fruit trees, replete with an excellent cat. Breakfast superb!! Healthy even with fruit from the garden with something specially home made every morning. A high point of our trip. Shower excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"This property was absolutely lovely. We booked late on our night of arrival, past 11pm, and the owner, Gino, was waiting for us when we got there. Our room was cozy, and comfortable, but the star of the show were the three private balconies outside. Overlooking the sea, with a great view, glorious sunshine and comfortable sofas, it was the perfect way to end an evening, and start the day. "We loved Armona. The house is charming however full of ants and cockroaches. The electricity kept cutting out. The standard of cleanliness was terrible. The glass shower door fell off in my hand. The host didn't leave any check in instructions and wouldn't answer the phone or messages. The number on the listing works but I got through to a very rude Spanish man who hung up on me twice after shouting at me in Spanish."

"The unit we stayed in was bright and airy, large patio doors, large windows, really distinct from conventional Portuguese builds. Loved the unit the setting was in a secure setting. The unit itself could do with more storage units for personal ware and more hooks to hang clothes, otherwise the kitchenette was well equipped, with even 2 ovens. All in all no complaints. Staff were very helpful, free bikes was a bonus."

"Booked a studio apartment last minute for 3 nights. Smart hotel, good security. Very friendly staff. Lovely pools as well as an indoor pool. Comfortable outdoor area. Spacious well equipped room, we did end up in a disabled room despite full fitness! Did feel if you were disabled there was only a shower over the bath which was quite high to get into, not a problem for us though. Had a nice meal in the lovely restaurant. Good parking. "
