"Wonderful place to visit. Great accommodations. Clean, well stocked, excellent Wifi. Dirk went above and beyond to assist. Only suggestion is the main bathroom shower is designed for a 7 foot basketball player. Lol. I’m a 5 ft 8 guy. I did adapt though. I would highly recommend this apartment. B"

"The apartment is very quiet. The complex is located central to most highway accesses. The location gave us a good home base for exploring Portugal and Spain. The apartment has 2 balconies so breakfast on one, afternoon sun on the other. Located close to the marina but a car was necessary."

"A lovely apartment with good outside space. The rooms are spacious and bathrooms clean. The pool is a good size but a few more beds around the pool would be helpful. The apartment was supppse to provide pool towels but none were available, so be careful not to rely on this. Within a 10 minute walk to local shops and restaurants makes this a great location."

"That was the worst bed we've ever slept on! Both of our backs and hips are killing us! We switched sides of the bed, took the sheets off and added a comforter under the mattress pad, then took it apart the next day and flipped the mattresses. Nothing worked, horrible bed! And there is also no where to sit and relax. The microscopic living room had a trundle bed. I guess fine if you have kids but not comfortable to watch TV. We would not rent again. AC remote had no display so total guessing...

"Stayed at this apartment for 1 month. Great location. Close to grocery stores, shopping, boardwalk & beach. Apartment was clean. Kitchen had all that was needed. Bathroom is small but has a nice shower. Beds were harder than we are used to. Outdoor patio facing the pool was nice for reading, having a meal and watching children enjoying the pool."

"This apartment is large, the host was communicative and gave us recommendations for restaurants in Quarteira. If you are considering booking this apartment, keep in mind that it is in a residential area with somewhat loud neighbours and about a 15 minute walk from the beach/many restaurants. The apartment was relatively clean, however there was what appeared to be mold in the bathroom and closet."

"We loved Armona. The house is charming however full of ants and cockroaches. The electricity kept cutting out. The standard of cleanliness was terrible. The glass shower door fell off in my hand. The host didn't leave any check in instructions and wouldn't answer the phone or messages. The number on the listing works but I got through to a very rude Spanish man who hung up on me twice after shouting at me in Spanish."

"The unit we stayed in was bright and airy, large patio doors, large windows, really distinct from conventional Portuguese builds. Loved the unit the setting was in a secure setting. The unit itself could do with more storage units for personal ware and more hooks to hang clothes, otherwise the kitchenette was well equipped, with even 2 ovens. All in all no complaints. Staff were very helpful, free bikes was a bonus."

"Booked a studio apartment last minute for 3 nights. Smart hotel, good security. Very friendly staff. Lovely pools as well as an indoor pool. Comfortable outdoor area. Spacious well equipped room, we did end up in a disabled room despite full fitness! Did feel if you were disabled there was only a shower over the bath which was quite high to get into, not a problem for us though. Had a nice meal in the lovely restaurant. Good parking. "
