Great Again!
Our group really enjoys this vacation home. The property is well maintained, clean and comfortable for 9 people. The location is beautiful, overlooking a rushing stream next to a small, wilderness lake.
Whispering Waters worked great for our family group. Lots of room and good sound proofing in the bedrooms was super helpful with three toddlers!

Lovely Cabin
The cabin is lovely. It is just as described with plenty of space for guests to hang out in the common areas. We loved the wood burning stove, particularly on a day with temperatures in the 40s with rain. There was a bit of a hiccup with a few supplies at the cabin at the start, but it all got resolved well. The location was fantastic. The property that the cabin sits on is beautiful and fun to explore. It is close enough to town for easy access, but far enough away to be away "from it all." It is not far from parts of the North Country Scenic Trail, and Apostle Islands is an easy hour drive away. This was our second time renting a cabin through North Country Vacation Rentals. The first time was in 2019. I would definitely recommend their services.
This home was a perfect for our annual family ATV ride. Ride the trails right from the house. Quiet and secluded for sitting outside on the back patio enjoying nature after a long day of riding. Close enough to Iron River if we needed something or to grab a bite to eat.
We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful property! The house was clean and welcoming! Remote but close enough to run to town! Only downfall would be the mosquitoes were terrible, even with a heavy bug spray. We tried to get to the lake, however the path had quite a few down trees which made it challenging to navigate with littles. All together we would definitely stay again!
Very nice layout (openenss in the main floor dining area), 4 bedrooms (1 king bed, 2 queen beds, 3 twin beds in the fourth bedroom) perfect fit for our group of 9 people (6 adults, three children). Kitchenware is very new and has a nice variety of pots and pans, cups, glasses, plates, bowls and knives…..
Excellent location! Beautiful "cabin" inside and out! Very roomy and had all the amenities one needs! 5 min to the Delta Diner( a must!) And a short drive to Iron River and Bayfield. Would totally recommend!!! Thank you for your prompt communication, easy of check in/out and simply wonderful place!! Will be back!!
The picture online sell this property short. It is the perfect place to getaway for a week and provides plenty of family activities to do. The tranquility and peace this place provides was a much needed break from reality.
We booked this house because we had a family wedding to attend on a nearby lake. It was very clean and we had lots of space to gather the other out of tow family staying in the area while we waited for the festivities. The access to the laundry was really helpful. Cooking our own food made it easy to manage everyone's needs. Everyone enjoyed sitting on the porch/deck and listening to the babbling brook. A couple of tips: if you are going in the summer and want to walk the property, you'll need lots of Bug spray (north country newbie here). There was some minimal pots and pans so if you're cooking for a big crowd you'll need a big pot. The driveway is a dirt road with a hill. Our prius managed it in the summer, and we probably wouldn't bring a 2wd car up here in the winter anyway. These are deal breakers, just helping others new to the north country - the house was fantastic. We would stay again in a heartbeat!! The communication with the owners was quick and helpful. Great place to stay.
We had a great time staying here. It had a nice, open floor plan that was perfect for gathering as a group. It was definitely a quiet spot that was perfect for us to hang out. Make sure to bring your bug spray!
