"Have you ever booked a place, driven 5 hours, and then arrived to find out it wasn't as pictures showed. The minute I pulled up for my week long solitude retreat this place felt like home. I brought my inflatable kayak, a bunch of books & art supplies, and comfort food.....and it was a great way to just chill. Decided to venture out to Brule River for some hiking and kayaking adventures, and did not dissappoint! Great location, Great Spot, and perfect for a solo getaway."

"We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is perfect: Right next to downtown Cornucopia (so you can find basic items easily), and just minutes from some of the coolest trails in the area. We stayed with two of us and our two pups. The pups adored the cabin and settled right in. The cabin is really adorable and cozy, very clean and updated, and has everything you need (including a well-equipped kitchen). It was easy to communicate with Erin. "Just stayed for the weekend after some Birkie spectating on Friday, so it was all about the chill. And this place was great for that. It's a good winter stay (especially with the wood sauna), but with the beach, the location and the equipment provided, I'll need to go back for a summer visit soon."

"This worked perfect for our family and our stay, especially with our hound along for the ride. We’d like to return in the summer months to better be able to explore the trails. The one difficulty was the lack of heater in the cabin necessitating use of space heaters. While the cabin remained warm enough I was under the impression there was more centralized heating. Other than that we had no issues and really enjoyed our stay!"

"We stayed here for 2 nights on a motorcycle trip. It was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The beds were great, the kitchen was stocked with essentials, and same with the bathrooms. We’d recommend this to anyone, especially those wanting lakeside fun. There’s a beautiful pontoon for rent, a great dock and the water was clear and calm. We will return when we can stay longer. The property manager was a great communicator."
