Includes both buildings and 550 feet of private lake shore. It is located at the end of a 3 mile long gravel road. Quiet. Secluded. Private. Come enjoy a beautiful escape on the south shore of Lake Superior. NOW with high speed wifi! Literally 100 times faster than our old DSL (starlink- 253 mbps on July 3, 2024)! This home was built entirely from locally harvested white pine in 2002\. Finally we found a rental home that provided ample room for gathering, quiet time and enough beds— no need for making up the couch, but it would have been a comfortable option if needed. The kitchen was well equipped, and everyone could be accommodated for seating during family meals. The game room, and outdoor games and fire pit provided fun for all ages. The home is beautiful, and the setting serene. Certain courageous family members took morning dips in the lake and followed up with a sauna. We all took walks on the beach and to the mouth of the Amnicon River.Noise does carry throughout the main house. Light sleepers may want to bring along ear plugs/noise cancellation gear. The beach was swimmable and walkable which was a nice surprise- beautiful at sunset. We played wiffleball in the large yard and had outdoor coverage during the rain by using the open garage. The house and property worked out great for us and four other couples. The view of the lake along with the cool breeze coming off of it was wonderful especially due to the hotter than normal weather we experienced.
