River Rock Cabin - Private Escape - ON the Etowah River! Private decks/firepits!

"What a cute little cabin! The property is conveniently located close enough to Dahlonega and far enough for peace and quiet. The decks on the river, the swing near the river, the fire pit areas, and the upstairs deck at the cabin are perfect places to relax outdoors. The cabin décor is cute and cozy, and we appreciated all the extra welcoming touches--snack basket, fishing gear, fire pit supplies, sunscreen and mosquito repellent, laundry supplies, extra toilet paper, and toiletries. It's always a treat to stay in a rental that's personally managed by owners who go above and beyond. I only gave four stars instead of five for cleanliness for the following reasons: a strong unpleasant smell downstairs, like an extreme wet dog smell or possible water leak; our socks collected a lot of dog hair from the rugs; and the couch cover and throw blankets smelled like dog. I realize it's a pet-friendly rental, so some evidence of animals wasn't surprising. We don't have pets, so we're not used to animal smells and hair. It wasn't a deal breaker for us, and we would stay again."

"Our son was in a wedding at the local winery. We chose the house because of the location. It was perfect. Big enough for a family of 8. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, as were the bathrooms. We enjoyed the arcade games and sitting out on the front porch. It was all very nice!"

"The ONLY issue is the drive - it was daunting- even for someone accustomed to mountain roads, Some of the ruts were a foot deep. It made me avoid any short trips to town. The property was serene, and beautiful, The cabin was great, it has everything for a wonderful stay!"

"Our stay was amazing. Everything was as it was presented in the pictures. The space is perfect for a couple, super romantic, and very clean. It can get a little hot upstairs if the weather is warmer but fans are provided which help out a lot. We absolutely will be looking forward to book again in the future."

"Host was very responsive during our stay to resolve the WiFi problem. What a dream cabin! It was perfect for our family of 6 adults. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout the cabin like the full length lighted mirrors in the upstairs bedrooms not to mention the awesome speakeasy game room basement."
