Mate, your host, is most accommodating.
The place is quite new and suited us perfectly. It is just North and only 9 minutes drive to entrance 1 of Plitvice Lakes National Park and therefore a great staging ground for a day trip there. The room is clean and spacious. The beds are very comfortable.
While it is possible to enter the park at 7am and start hiking and have breakfast at one of the restaurants inside, we suggest a more leisurely breakfast with Mate and then head on to the park. He provided a perfectly good meal with lots of fruit, bread, eggs, sausages, ham, mushrooms, and vegetables. Coffee machine is available. Wish we could stay longer there.
