"Very helpful and welcoming staff. Beautiful building with well appointed rooms. Air conditioning unit was old and inefficient, but fortunately this did not affect our comfort. Location could not be better."

"Cave B&B.
Right at the heart of old Matera city.
Driving there is not possible, so either have a small luggage or be ready to drag the luggage through medieval streets.
There’s a Maison or Casa Cava that is close to drive by to load and unload the luggages, but still hard to drive to. Just a heads up.
The host speaks little English.
Breakfast has a great selection and very fresh."
