We enjoyed our stay at The Langlands. The staff were friendly and helpful. Having casual dining and a breakfast cafe on site was great.

The Langlands is a beautiful property, with excellent amenities and friendly attentive staff at every level. Highly recommend.

The place to stay in Invercargill - a quiet, relatively new property with many amenities. Staff were very helpful. One slight issue - room keys seem to deactivate each day - we had to go to the front desk to get them renewed but then the same thing would happen the next day. Even keys that just sat in the room not exposed to cell phones or other magnetic sources would just stop working. A minor irritant for an otherwise great stay.

the Meld reastaurant is no where the standard to be expected of a hotel of this rating.A street level cafe style Asian fusion restaurant with very limited Tapas style food can be replicated all over Invercargill.I would expect a second level fine dining experience for this rating type establisment.

What a gem the south has! Best hotel accom in NZ by far. The staff were fantastic and you’d struggle find as good a dining experience for dinner or breakfast even in Melbourne! Loved it and coming back 😎

Everyone and everything was superb. Water pressure. beds, pillows, food , everything was so amasing was excellent HOWEVER the booking site advertised in NZ currency and charged my credit card US currency, I live in the same city as Hotel, Be ware and book direct through Hotel. Will definitely stay again and recommend but will not book through this booking site

This hotel must be for subliterate people, as the lighting design is so bad. No reading lights above the bed - indeed, the only place with lighting bright enough to read is in the bathroom. No stocked minibar, no little welcome touches like biscuits or chocolates Too dear ($311 a night) and compared unfavourably with hotels like Chateau Marlborough. On the other hand, the staff were excellent and the food superb

Thank you for your feedback. Apologies our lighting was not what you required; our system are on individual dimmers which does offer a range of lighting options. We also have additional lights available for those that require a brighter space. We do not offer mini bars in the rooms, however do have room service available including beverage selections. I am glad our team made you feel welcome, and you enjoyed our menu.

From the moment we saw it, we were impressed. We parked easily and walked i to a warming reception, with staff that were friendly and informative. The room and amenities were fantastic. We would stay there again.

Comfort!
I lived in New Zealand for 23 years and visited Invercargill for the first time. I was wondering what kind of hotel I would stay at. As soon as I checked in, some worries and worries survived. The hotel's facilities. The staff's service. Its proximity to the city was all the best. I would like to express my gratitude to the hotel for making my family trip safe and comfortable.

Lovely staff, comfortable rooms and excellent facilities! Only odd part was the frosting in the bathroom (junior room) so hopefully you are comfortable with your other half… the pull along curtain doesn’t do much..
