Interlaken was our central stay to travel through many areas of Switzerland and it was a good location. I struggled after booking with communicating with the actual property manager as booking through Expedia put me thru another third party for payment only. Only after I had paid in full did they give me access to an email address to the property manager. Our return booking for 2020 was postponed due to the Covid pandemic and was rescheduled for August 2021\. The apartment had all the features we required and gave us a lovely view from our balcony across the Hohe Matte towards the Victoria Jungfrau Hotel. Only a few minutes walk to the town centre and both train stations, it is conveniently located to catch the boats and sail around both Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, as well as journeying by train into the mountains to visit the Eiger/Monch/Jungfrau and also the Schilthorn and, my own favourite place, the Lauterbrunnen valley.
