In the middle of nowhere, but there’s a castle and a Biergarten right there. The breakfast was included and very tasty. It was conveniently close to the Munich airport for our morning flight.

Can't fault it in any way
Nice and smart modern hotel immediately adjacent to a castle. And therein lies the tale for me of booking in a hurry, so it is my fault for not getting quite what I expected. Please let me be clear - the hotel is predominantly congress hotel - clean, modern and spotless - good food at reasonable prices too, and excellent service. Would I stay there again? Sure, I would, I cannot fault the place in any way - but second time around I would know that I'm not getting to stay in a castle - you only get to stay next door with a view of the castle. I didn't go to look - but I think at least some of the conference meeting rooms are in the castle.

Very nice staff, clean room, restaurant was closed but the room service was exceptional. I will come back again in the summer. beautiful grounds to walk around the castle

We had a wonderful stay. A huge comfortable room. Enjoyed a beautiful walk on the nature trail. The food was delicious! Perfect romantic weekend!

Great place to stopover
Great time was had by the entire family. We had our first stay here and will definitely be back! Personally, I loved the sauna rooms, which was just the thing after 7 hours driving. The glutenfree breakfast option was impressive too. Thanks for a great service!

Better for conferences than individuals
The hotel is geared toward conferences, which makes the stay for individuals a bit awkward. We checked in at 4 pm and had to wait nearly 1 hour for the room to be ready even though check-in time is 2 pm. We stayed in the Försterhaus which was nice but the blinds don’t block out the light and one blind was completely missing. Food was not great

A beautiful castle hotel surrounded by water and greenery. A quaint restaurant offers delicious food. Breakfast is grandios. Only sufficient signs are missing.

Very good hotel in peaceful location
Overnight stop. Very nice hotel with large rooms that are well insulated from noise. Easy access for luggage. Good parking. Very good bar with good food and one with character. Friendly staff. Very happy with hotel. Peaceful. Only negative point was that breakfast could have been better. The food looked like it had been out for a while although it was adequate

Nice rooms - complex actually has the castle within it. Good eating options from destination michelin star restaurant to cosy pub. Overall very nice

Fairytale Night
My husband and I arrived at the hotel after dark. We were tired from a long day in Munich (and preparing for a long flight home early the next morning)! Fortunately, the staff called to confirm the restaurant at the hotel was still open for a late meal! The food and service were excellent! After dinner we walked around the lovely castle. The grounds and setting at nightime were simply lovely in the moonlight. It was sad we were only staying one night as our room was lovely, modern, immaculate, with comfortable beds and pillow! Highly recommend!

Great hotel, nice secluded small German town, less than 30 minute drive to Munich Airport. Only negative was rooms had no A/C, typical though for most European hotels.You have to open windows but they don't have screens so lots of flies come in. Overall very nice place if you are looking for quite, secluded hotel.

A nice stay
Very nice hotel, modern and clean. Facilities are excellent and restaurants offer great German food and friendly service. A relaxing location in a quaint village scene for a great getaway. I will definitely be coming back. The staff are friendly and offer you all the ammenities. The gym has a great variety and the saunas are relaxing. It is easy to get to Munich and back, as well as ingolstadt as it is in between. It is also nice to walk around the local village as well as the fields.

Artistic Design and relaxing mood
I checked out early time before their breakfast service start. The staff made a bag which include sandwiches and fruits for me. So I could enjoy their breakfast at the airport. They are very kind.

Large room, good breakfast and friendly priced
Passing through on our way to Austria, we stayed at Schloss Hohenkammer for a night. We have a spacious room for the family and a good breakfast. Taken in account the low price we will likely return.

long weekend in munich area
stay was fine. Hotel is more attuned to conference type settings but rooms ok. breakfast included and sufficient choices at buffet were available. sauna and gym area is downstairs from reception and has everything and generally was quiet and thus no queues

Deze accomodatie gekozen als tussenstop richting Oostenrijk. Mooie rustige omgeving met uitstekend personeel en een heerlijk ontbijt. Vanwege tussestop geen andere activiteiten gedaan.daarom uitstekend als tussenstop. Vlak bij de snelweg, benzinepomp op 450 m.

Am Wochenende gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
Schönes u komfortables Zimmer, auch das Bad war klasse. Tolle Anlage mit Wasserschloss, modernem Neubau, zwei Restaurants. Freundlicher, kompetenter Service. Hervorragendes Frühstück in Auswahl und auch Qualität. Da es in erster Linie ein Tagungshotel ist, gibt’s am Wochenende gute Preise.
