I really enjoyed our stay here, however it was not perfect. First the good, the beds are comfortable, and there is a decent amount of space. The kitchen is well appointed, although you must buy the cleaning kit if you are going to be using it, or buy/bring your own, as it is not stocked. The grounds are very nice as well, parking is enclosed behind a secure gate, and they offer a small commissary for a few goods that you may need. The linens and towels are both of good quality. It was an excellent location to travel, well, just about anywhere in the area from and very convenient for us, but would be a bad choice if you do not have a car. We wanted to use the Sauna/pool, and it looked like others were enjoying it, but never found the time.
Onto the not so good. There was a different person working there each time, and some had difficulty communicating in english. Yes, I know as a guest I should not expect that, but with so many travelers from other countries staying here, it was suprising. Also, we arrived on a holiday in which most restaurants were closed. I asked for a recommendation where we could find something to eat, take out, anything, and was told there was nothing. Thankfully we passed a KFC on the way into Colmar, so I at least knew we could get SOMETHING, but it was discouraging that this information was not passed along, as if we had come in from a different direction, I would not have known, and it was a short drive away.
The Wi-fi is, awful and not reliable.
