"We booked this property because of the space and amenities within it, thinking that it would be a good home base to go to Killarney and Dingle and the surrounding areas. What we didn't know is that the little town of Castlemaine has a fun life of it's very own and if you go to Griffin's (a 1-2 minute walk!) for dinner and move to the bar for drinks afterwards, you will have a fantastic time! "We are so happy with this hotel. Similar to boutique hotel/backpackers hotel. Rooms modern and super clean. Beds comfy and lots of storage. Lobby had eating area and small sitting area. Breakfast was purchase service- oatmeal, yogurts, fruit, juice etc. Staff pleasant and helpful. Would stay again for price and location. Central. A minute from bus stop. We took train and bus from Dublin so unsure about parking. "
