We walked into the hotel only to be met with an extremely loud, relentless buzzing from the heater—impossible to ignore. We then discovered there was no elevator, which is completely unreasonable given that my husband had just been released from the hospital and should not have been climbing stairs. Once we reached the room, the situation went from bad to appalling. The level of filth was beyond anything even remotely acceptable: thick layers of dust everywhere, what appeared to be dried bodily fluids on a chair, dark grime coating the front of the couch. The level of neglect that was genuinely nauseating. The condition of this room was not just disappointing—it was inexcusable."
