"The room was dated. It served its purpose for a 1-night stay. However…Special 5-star mention for the wonderful breakfast. It was amazing. So many choices. Clean facility. Fresh food, replenished frequently. Huge variety of choices. And it was free. Bravo."

"This was a very well situated and well supplied cottage on the St. Lawrence river! Arriving in the evening, the garden welcomed us with pretty lighting and a vista of the river that wowed the kids. The pool table in the game room was in a bit of a rough state but everything else entertained us well when it was raining, and when the weather was nice we did kayaking and even caught a couple fish right on the dock! Our host was not wrong that they'd be biting. We didn't need to contact the host for much, but she was easy to reach and responded quickly.Three generations of our family stayed with us and we would all like to come again."

"We had such a wonderful week at this beautiful cottage! The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The lake view was absolutely lovely, and the huge, peaceful property made it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the time away. We also really appreciated that the cottage is dog-friendly, which made our vacation even more special.The cottage offered so many wonderful options for recreation and entertainment. We enjoyed the kayaks and pedal boat, and there were also a stand-up paddleboard, outdoor games, and plenty of indoor games and entertainment available. We enjoyed all the activities available. We especially loved spending our evenings by the fire pit in the Adirondack chairs -- it was such a beautiful and cozy setup!The cottage was very well set up, with a spacious kitchen and everything we needed for our stay. The owners were very kind and welcoming, which made our experience even better. We truly enjoyed our stay and made so many wonderful memories here. Thank you for providing such an excellent accommodation and a memorable cottage experience!"

"It's a typical motel. The pictures are not very accurate. The property is not on the water, and has no access to the river. It was very clean, minus a bit of mould in the shower. Bedding was fine, and the bed was comfortable. Shower was broken when we arrived, but the guy fixed it to the best of his ability. He offered us a different room but the smell of mothballs was so strong that we decided to kept our original. Neighbours were loud, but responded to my request to be quiet. My only real complaint was the porch light pouring into the room due to the old and paper-thin yellowish blinds and lack of curtains. Unfortunately, I was inches from the window and barely slept. We paid $170 CAD, with taxes and fees. I don't suggest paying over $125."
