"I liked the balcony overlooking the main shopping street - and the proximity to walk around the city - including to the Acropolis. "+ it is a quiet piece of town even though you are in the inner city in a 10 - 15min walk. The stadium next to it and the parks across the street are a plus as well. The room was clean. - the luxury is a bit superficial, the main shower head was worn out, the watercooker needed replacement and the room was okay but nothing more. "Excellent location... within walking distance to the Acropolis and Plaka with lots of shops and restaurants around the area. The Metro station is literally 3 mins walk away. The staff are brilliant. "Really lovely hotel right in the centre of everything! The decoration was sleek and modern but still warm and inviting. Breakfast was great and although very different to what we're used to, there were lots of things to try and the bonus was being able to have it all delivered to your room on days of your choosing. The restaurants nearby are amazing! Our favourites were Oineas on the doorstep and The Creative Greek Cuisine around the corner. Oineas more than makes up for the fact there is no bar or restaurant at the hotel and has great prices too. Also try the icecream shop next door! The staff were friendly and happy to help with any issues or extra things you need. Everything was kept very clean and facemasks were generally worn by staff when guests were around. The metro is very close and next to rows of shops and a square you can see the Acropolis from. Our terrace was also brilliant and spacious. We spent many mornings and evenings there, enjoyed the sun beds and listening the the bustle of the street in the evening. One thing I will say is it can get quite loud but there is an electric shutter over the window which blocks out all sound and light which we use a few nights and found it to be perfect.
