"One of Kongsbergs older properties but maintained and run perfectly with a first class breakfast, welcoming staff and comfortable rooms. Only hiccup was having to pay Expedia and the hotel due to an unresolved booking issue. I’m sure Expedia will refund me. Vi opplevde kloakklukt på rommet, uteplassen ved rommet kan være hyggelig, men den var ikke stelt, masse ugress og ikke egnet å sitte ved, dessverre. Badet var veldig mørkt og klønete å måtte stå/sitte i badekaret for å dusje. God og delikat frokost. "

"Perfect stay. Very friendly staff, helpful with recommendations of things to do. Hotel very clean, modern and comfortable. Could not fault anything. Amazing views over river and town centre. Included buffet breakfast was amazing, best we've seen, for quality and quantity. Salmon & herring, to bacon eggs, to cold meats and cheeses of all descriptions. Huge varieties of teas and coffees, freshly squeezed juices, yogurts and danish pastries. Finally it's centrally located, next to train station close to new bridge to cross river. No noise at all heard from trains, perfect sound insulation. "
