"Few places make it easy for a family of 5 to stay together in Iceland. While being out of the way, this place was still a good base for adventures in southern Iceland."

"They had an ok kitchen but no cork screw, no colander. A really large bathroom but the sink was very, very small - so weird. Beds comfortable. Power went out for awhile but someone came and they were able to restore it. We had booked in error the day before and switched it but they refused to give us a refund for that night. It was 6 months before the visit so they totally could have sold it again. We were upset about that poor customer service. "

Our apartment had beautiful views of the mountains and was extremely clean, lacking nothing. It is a short walk to the local Bonus and bus stop and a quick drive to downtown. "I liked the Idea of paperless and online check-in, However we didn't get the check-in email and struggled to get a call to them upon arrival since our phones didn't work right on our wi-fi setup we were using. However someone let us use their phone to call them and we were able to send an email and we got in in a few minutes. Someone in the building burnt something on the stove and the fire alarm went off. Without a staff on site we did not know how to reset the alarm or really what to do. So...
