An Oasis in El Gouna
The hotel facilities are great, we really enjoyed and our children too! The breakfast buffet has everything you need to start the day. The pool is not very big but it’s nice and the pool bar is really good too serving both drinks and food as well! There’s a small boat to go to Zaytona beach which while not great, it’s good enough. Based on this hotel it’s easy to go Sahl Hasheesh or Soma Bay for a day trip and enjoy everything the Red Sea has to offer. For a family it is very safe for the children to explore and have fun so the parents can also enjoy. El Gouna town is a short walk and had many shops and restaurants where very kind and nice people awaits your visit. Would recommend 100%

We are so glad we went with Sultan Bey after shopping around a bit. The all inclusive was totally worth it, everyday there was a new delicious cocktail. There was always a shady spot at the pool bar or the pool or the beach area. Access to Zeytouna beach was a big bonus. Absolutely gorgeous, and only a very short boat ride away. And the staff were all so friendly and helpful. We'd love to make it back someday!

In general, the hotel is amazing and the staff are extremly friendly and so nice. I felt I am at home and pampered from super nice staff.

Despite its name, it isn't all-inclusive. The A/C wasn't working great, and there wasn't enough lighting in the room. The best thing about the hotel is the flowers and view outside. Breakfast was nice too. The area is dead though, maybe because of corona, but we seemed like the only ones at the hotel. Front office staff was nice and accommodating of our needs. But wouldn't rebook this same hotel.

Quirky, comfortable hotel well placed in Downtown
The hotel was comfortable with a spacious room, a terrace and good views of the lagoon. The food was varied and of good quality. The pool and public toilet areas were very clean and well looked after. There were enough sunbeds for everyone. The staff could not do enough to help, even bringing a kettle and mugs at 11.30 at night! We were able to have a relaxing stay with easy access to Downtown and to the marinas by taxi or tuk-tuk.

Nice small hotel, food is good staff are awesome.
I have stayed 5 nights at this hotel, staff are very friendly, food is good. It's very quiet environment, to reach the beach you have to ride a boat for 10 minutes. No entertainment at all!!!. There is a perfume store at the beach don't ever buy from it, products are terrible and the guy run the store is so rude and a thief, he have stolen 600 Egyptian pounds from my sister that she forgot at the store and he claimed that he never saw her money.

Excellent location
El Gouna itself is a beautiful place and Sultan Bay has one of the best locations that we saw. The lagoon view rooms are amazing. I thought that the room size was smaller than what we expected but it was sufficient nonetheless. We were there on a holiday with our 2 year old and I think he enjoyed his stay more than we did. The only issue was that they couldn't give us a double (king sized) bed in the room. That was the only blip in an otherwise excellent stay.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel
The shower in my room was terrible, water was out a couple of times while I was showering also you would get surges of really hot water every 40 secs, it was really annoying! Hotel music was very loud, me and my wife would wake up every morning at 7:30 AM. Overall cleanliness and quality is poor, my bed sheet had 2 holes the size of a tennis ball. The food was ok (breakfast only). This is definitely not a 4 star hotel for me.

The Sultan Bey Hotel is basic but clean. However, they state that they wish to conserve water - but there are no plugs for the sinks in the bathroom! The breakfast fare has improved somewhat but such a shame that they serve "Tang" instead of fresh juices. It is not a hotel for those with any disability - stairs, stairs and more stairs. But it is fine for a short stay and the gardens are glorious. The staff are courteous. It is a few minutes' walk to the main restaurants and shops so ideally situated. A pleasant stay.

Nicely laid out complex with well kept gardens.
Whilst our room was adequate we had a problem with noise. Adjacent to us repairs and renovation work was carried on throughout the whole 2 week stay. Food was good (B&B only) and staff were very obliging. After the first week I had a stomach bug (not necessarily acquired in the hotel) and was quite ill for most of the rest of my stay. We obtained medication from a local pharmacy and of course could have done with a quiet spell without the continued noise of the workmen's operations and shouting across the site to one another. The only other problem we had was the presence of many feral cats. Myself and my wife both suffered from flea bites and we do believe this was due to an infested rug in our room which we had removed on day 2.

Perfect!
The hotel is perfect! It has all what you want in a hotel. It combines the good location within El Gouna Resort so you are close to the beach, nightlife spots and the room rate which you get more for what you paid for! Not to mention, the food is so delicious, specially breakfast, yummy! Finally, I had an interaction with the management which is so professional, very aware of their task. Not only that, genuinely they care about their guests! Thumps up!

Good location in El Gouna
Clean hotel and helptul staff but ground floor rooms tend to be a bit dark. Not for those with mobility problems as there are so many steps. However, great location for walking into Gouna where there are many restaurants and shops. Good value for money.

We stayed 4 nights at the Sultan Bey. So let's start with the cons: 1. We arrived post 3pm, yet our rooms were not ready; 2. Front desk wasn't professional, but rather rude; 3. Bed sheets were dirty upon check on; 4. our rooms (400 block) was right next to the Club House, which meant no sleeping until 3am in case of party; 5. No access to a nice beach; 6. Below average breakfast. Now to the pros: 1. Nice location as rooms are overlooking lagoon; 2. Low price Personally, choosing to book there again would be a last resort

What a beautiful place and affordable.
What an incredible four days. We went snorkeling, horse back and camel riding, to name a few of our activities. The staff at the hotel and beach were very helpful and friendly. I can not wait to back to explore more of this slice of heaven and it’s incredible underwater treasures. The opportunities for diving and snorkeling are limitless. The village offers many unique shops and there is a great selection of food. Sultan Bey has the best breakfast selection that I have ever seen, including Europe, USA, Mexico and Canada. The staff was very helpful with arranging activities and getting great prices.

A good place for relaxing
The hotel location is very good and it is not far away from the marina just 5 minutes by car, it is located in the downtown where you can find everything beside like super market , club house, cafes, restaurant and the tourism office center
