Welcome to Slopeside in Hidden Valley!!! Our Chalet is nestled on an elevated forested property across the street from the Hidden Valley Ski Hill. It offers a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom newly renovated and furnished space that is ideal for couples and families alike. The location offers many activities for all seasons such as hiking, skiing, ice skating, water sports, mountain biking, fishing, golfing, or just relaxing! Private beach access on Peninsula Lake is included which has beach volley ball, picnic area and shallow entry swimming. Ski lifts and hills right across the street. Mountain biking trails across the street in the warmer months. Thirty minute drive to famous Algonquin Park for canoeing, hiking, stargazing and wildlife abound. Ten minutes to Arrowhead Provincial Park which has the longest winter skating trail in Ontario, beautiful hiking trails and beaches. Limberlost Forest is a quick 15 minute drive for more solitude and hiking trails. Seven minutes to Downtown Huntsville for groceries and all the restaurants and shops on the quaint Main Street. The cottage was spotless fully kitted out kitchen and necessities and great layout as my daughter her partner and toddler had ground floor and privacy and we had upstairs. Location is great 10 mins walk or 3 min drive to small private beach perfect for young children. Only negative is you do need an all wheel drive to get up the driveway which is exceptionally steep and i would say anyone in their 60โ€™s would struggle getting up the steep outside steps to house.. And comfortably furniture and bedding. Hot tub was a definite bonus after hitting the slopes. Ample kitchen space with a good amount of dishes. Plus bonus dishwasher. Overall we throughly enjoyed our stay. It was easy access to ski hill. And lots of parking. The only flaw i would say is the amount of stairs to access the chalet. But Sara and Alex have made a convenient covered stair case making it better accessible.
