"My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Talga. The place was very clean and neat. We really enjoyed seeing all the kangaroos on the property. It was so relaxing to stay on a vineyard. "This is the 3rd year staying here in October for my sons golf tournament. Got to see the owner around again. Well done to Dr Schwartz! Everything is clean and well maintained. There some amenities that were low, but as soon as we notified housekeeping it was all provided quite quickly. Even though i prefer carpet, love the new floorboards they put in. Place looks so refreshed. Kids activities were still the fav! Train rides, jumping castle and love the water park. Breakfast is always so good with all the options. Loved the pastries and so many options with eggs. Thank You Rydges we will probably be back again next year."

"We loved staying here -- it has lots of room for a family of four and my son didn't want to leave! Located in the town center of Nelson Bay, it is also only a few minutes' walk to Woolworths and the other shops. Our apartment was nice and clean and had a good ambience. Furniture had a little wear and tear, but it was acceptable. Rooms were of a good size and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very large and had everything we needed. We had a laundry and an ensuite which was very nice. Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. A couple of downsides: the wifi was very slow and in fact failed one evening and the wifi network seemed to drop out of existence! Secondly, because it's a pool view apartment, we got a bit of noise from the activity in the pool - these are both minor complaints though as the pool is closed before it gets too late and we have our mobile phones for internet anyway. Overall, it was a great place to stay and we will stay here again next time we're in Nelson Bay. I can recommend it."
