Les maisons à colombages à murs blancs, peints à la chaux, aux toits à pans coupés et aux tuiles plates au bout arrondi en "queue de castor" y sont encore très nombreuses. Les cours de ferme sont restaurées dans la tradition. On peut voir également quelques maisons avec des vitres bombées qui étaient utilisées à l'époque baroque. C'est un village de tradition protestante calviniste dont l'église a été rénovée il y a quelques années. Des visites du village sont proposées par des érudits locaux. Baden-Baden is absolutely magical at this time of year. We’ve visited several major cities during the festive season, but the Christmas decorations here are on another level, elegant, charming, and unforgettable. Staying in a beautiful hotel right in the heart of it all made the experience even more special. Breakfast was exceptional with an impressive selection and even oysters. The service was excellent, the staff were helpful and genuinely welcoming.
