"It would be perfect if there is a filtered water dispenser on each floor, e.g. by the ice machine. I don't use ice, but try to drink large quantity of water during the summer. I used the canned water for decaffeinated coffee. Providing herbal (caffeine free tea/infusion) would be great!"

"Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay! I want to give a special shoutout to Cindy at the front desk. She was incredibly professional and welcoming, taking the time to thoroughly explain the hotel layout and dining schedules. Seeing that we were traveling with a toddler, she proactively arranged for bed rails and children's toiletries to be sent to our room, which was such a thoughtful touch. The luggage department was also fantastic—storing our bags was incredibly fast, convenient, and efficient. But the absolute best part of this hotel is the pedestrian bridge that connects directly to Ocean Park. It made going back and forth to the park effortless, which is an absolute lifesaver when you need to bring a little one back for a midday nap. This hotel is incredibly family-friendly, especially for parents traveling with toddlers. Highly recommended!"

"The staff always have a smile and want to help in any way I have stayed here previously and this trip was for 25 days I have no hesitation in recommending this friendly hotel, and if you want to be out of Central and Kowloon, come to Aberdeen, its a beautiful town, the harbour is beautiful, the fish market and across the water is Ap Lei Chau I will be coming back again to The South Nest next year Congratulations everyone *****5"

"Overall the experience is decent; the property appears to have been renovated once. The location is somewhat remote, though accessible by multiple bus routes. This is understandable given that it is a houseboat."

"This is a super unique way to stay in Hong Kong. The boat is very spacious, but you can’t use the aircons at the same time, so the top level was VERY hot. We did not use the upper level but only to shower. We had six people in our party, and we had plenty of space for everyone! The Wi-Fi speed was very good. The only negative is how difficult it is to get to and from where you are staying. You have to take a Sampan and that is ordered by a different vendor every time. They have hours, so you can’t stay out too late. If that is not a problem for you, this is a great stay. But it was inconvenient for a family with kids. You have to make sure to bring groceries with you if you want any food. It’s also not really located near tourist spots. It is more off the beaten path. That being said, we had a nice unique stay!"
