OCEAN FRONT! SLEEPS up to 6 GUESTS! GORGEOUS! My apartment is a little slice of heaven! It is literally only a few steps to the beach! The bedroom & living room both have gorgeous views & open up to the porch. The porch has a counter running its entire length where we eat most of our meals listening to the ebb and flow of the tide & watching the waves crash, the pelicans dive for fish, & the iguanas climb the palm trees. We marvel at the occaisional surfers & kiteboard & wind surfers as the fly over the waves. At night the moon shines on the water creating a liquid silver effect which is stunning! It is located on the 2nd floor of a small 3 floor building & is very private. There is 1 master bedroom however 6 to 7 people can easily sleep very comfortably in both the loft/entrance area & on the huge U shaped living room couch. There are 2 large smart TVs with sound bars, 2 bikes/helmets/air pumps, lots of beach chairs & beach towels, & a fully equipped kitchen.The entire apartment is yours during your stay. There is a pool for the beach village members that you will have access to that is a 2 minute walk from your door. The Palmas Del Mar Resort is a gated community where many successful Puerto Ricans live or have a weekend place, where many people from the states choose to live & retire or work remotely & where many tourists come to relax and explore the beautiful island. The resort has several restaurants, a grocery store, 2 golf courses, a tennis center, a fitness center, a country club, many pools (one of which you'll have a key to) & a beautiful beach! This property is located in a very nice gated community. It is on the beach and a very short walk to the pool. A short walk down a beach path and you are at the plaza. The owner supplies plenty of soaps including shampoo and conditioner! There were beach chair's, a cabana, a boogie board, beach toy's, and plenty of beach towels for us to use. We enjoyed pizzellas pizza and the frozen yogurt place at the plaza. The market is pricey but does have essentials if needed. We cooked most of our meals and the pans and tools necessary were all in the condo. The community(like the rest of the island)does lose power frequently, for only short amounts of time, but I want to note this because it is wise to only buy a couple days of perishables at a time. The walmart is close(10 minutes)to stop on your travels and grab essentials for meals. The view from the deck,and the sound of the waves at night, were our favorite features of this property. There are so many things to see and do in Peurto Rico that we will be planning another trip to see more of what we missed. Just outside of the gated community there is a shipping container coffee and breakfast shop. Ohana Jireh Coffee Shop. Its Cash only but was very good. The owners were very sweet and helped us decide what to order. The cappuccino was amazing. The owner of this property was super helpful,friendly,and check in was seamless. ##### Joy L. We spent a week here with our family of 4 - two teenage boys, and it was the perfect home base to start and end each day. We loved exploring Luquillo and Seven Seas beaches, hiking in El Yunque National Forest, visiting San Juan, and discovering the areas in between. It was nice to be outside the city and really experience the people and the island in a gated community loaded with amenities. PLUS: you can walk to the beach just outside your door. Lisa is a gem—warm, welcoming, and always available to answer any questions. The outdoor veranda was our favorite spot for morning coffee at sunrise and evening sunsets. The condo is kept up well& it's very clean! Pictures are accurate, other than the abundance of seaweed that is on the beach. The location is gorgeous, Palmas Del Mar is quite a place, definitely felt 100% safe. The view is absolutely to die for. We traveled out of the community daily and it was a good home base for exploring. Sadly there was a lot of sargasso on the beach while we were there but it's not to be helped. We enjoyed the views and ocean breeze from the patio, and slept with the doors open every night. While there were few insects in this area, we liked having screens in the doors and windows just in case. The kitchen was well-equipped, and it was nice that there was a toaster oven--since there's no regular oven... We also took advantage of the nice quiet pool area. Finally, having two bikes to use during our stay was an extra bonus! We'll be back! ##### Luke C. Lisa was very attentive. She sent some recommendations on places to eat and visit, not only locally, but other places throughout Puerto Rico, before our visit during our planning phase of the trip. Once we arrived, she checked in with us periodically to make sure everything was going well. It was wonderful waking up each morning to a sunrise right beside the ocean.
