We had a fantastic time at lodge Our host could not have been more helpful.
We had a fantastic time at lodge Our host could not have been more helpful. The accomodation is lovely. A very cosy cottage. And the hot tub was fantastic. Beautifully kept grounds, and very spacious and safe for kids and fur babies. It was very peaceful experience.Unfortunately, we did not make use of the outdoor BBQ, but would have if we had been there earlier in the year.I would highly recommend you pay a visit..

Lovely cottage perfect size for 4 adults, 1 child & a boxer dog.
Lovely cottage perfect size for 4 adults, 1 child & a boxer dog. You do need a car or bike to get to the village, beach & surrounding attractions. Pub is over a mile away, we would have walked but the road is very busy, pitch black at night & no pavement. To countaract that the food at the Roos Arms are excellent especially the Sunday lunch. Lennie absolutely loved the big garden & we were happy as it was all enclosed so no worries. On top of this is the 6 person hot tub a great way to relax after a busy day. Would recomend this cottage for a wonderful relaxing holidzy

Beautiful cottage, Well presented, up-to-date inside and out.
Beautiful cottage, Well presented, up-to-date inside and out. Host was polite and helpful with any questions.Back garden was large with secure fencing all around. The hot tub was a great addition, to make it more relaxing . Log burner made it nice and cosy on a cold day . To say it was home for dogs as well, you couldn't tell. House was clean and so was the garden . Thank you

A very relaxing weekend that was just what we needed with our two sons and dog.
A very relaxing weekend that was just what we needed with our two sons and dog. The hot-tub and enclosed garden were at the top of our wish list and didn’t disappoint. We had a few short journeys out in the car to the beaches at Withernsea and Hornsea, which were very quiet at this time of year (Feb half-term) and ideal for our dog that is reactive to other dogs when on the lead. The cottage was lovely and had pretty much everything we needed - missing covers for the sofas that we were asked to use (fortunately we had our own) and the lighter for the wood burner wasn’t working. We did see that on this occasion the cleanliness could have been a little better but we put this down to a one off as no other reviews mentioned this. This wouldn’t stop us from returning.

We had a couple of issues whilst there but these were dealt with promptly . Hosts were very helpful and had a lovely meal at their pub the Roo Arms , would highly recommend the Sunday lunch . Just spent the weekend in the lodge , with family to celebrate husbands 70th .
Just spent the weekend in the lodge , with family to celebrate husbands 70th . Everyone was happy with the lodge and the use of the hot tub . We had a very relaxed weekend , with a couple of games and a few drinks . The downstairs bedroom and bathroom was good for myself , as i have mobility problems . The lodge is lovely and the log burner made it so much more homely and cosy . Cant fault the place . We are thinking of a return next year .An item on the description was missing , however, on contacting the host , he turned up the same evening with a brand new one for us to use next day . Nothing was too much trouble . Highly recommend. Very pleased with our stay .
