I was greeted and taxied to the hotel from my arrival dock. The staff were exceptionally attentive and helpful. The restaurant offered the best Indian cuisine I had ever had!

This property owner said they don't work with Expedia. I had confirmed booking from Expedia but the guy at reception denied by booking from 8th Aug - 15th Aug. Expedia customer care did not even help me out with the situation as well. The guy at reception said we don't work with Expedia anymore I don't have any room for you, go find another place. Please don't book this property from Expedia, as according to this hotel they said Expedia to delist them 3-4 months ago. There is some fraud going on at some level, as Expedia said it's not the case, and the guy at reception denied my booking. BE CAREFUL.

Helpful staff and clean room. There was just one issue that toilet small shower was leaking water. So bath mat was fully wet.

overall good experience, albeit staff were creepy
everything was okay. except the staff, they are a bit creepy (the way they behave and look at you). I have difficulty understanding what they are saying. I know it is English, but the sentence structure does not make any sense.

Basic hotel for overnight stay in Male
This hotel is very basic. The staff at the front desk was a bit rude. The room smelled moldy but was overall pretty clean. It is a fine hotel if you have to stay overnight in Male before your seaplane transfer.

You are only good before payment!
The check in was good and smooth. The check out on the next morning was awful. There was a change of staff and the new staff were rude. They practically threw us out of the hotel room. We found out that they had delayed passengers of an earlier pick up time and had kicked us out earlier so that we could share the same car to the airport. This is unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff was nice but the place is impossible to find even though its on the main road. As for the Bombay Indian restaurant (which is pretty good). The hotel is adequate at best but you staff here for the location to the airport.

I used this hotel as last day exit from Maldives. Closer to the airport. So if you plan to use local ferry to reach airport, go one day before to be sure that you reach the airport. If your resort is far and bad weather it may be a problem getting on time to the airport. Loved the stay :)

In house Indian restaurant OK
Good service with luggage as there is no lift. Airport transfer as quoted by Expedia on my reservation comfirmation not $7.00'return but $20.00. I paid $10.00 for a one way to airport. Expedia please correct this. A little language difficulty as I only speak English Otherwise this place is OK Value for money.

Perfect Hotel for a bridge day!!!Helpful staff
Staff was very nice and front desk was very helpful in getting things organized with the resort we went to. Even though we left earlier than the official BF time,the front desk representative prepared a small breakfast for us. From start to end the Newtown Inn was a good experience and it is the perfect stay when landing late and having to bridge a day.

Bidget choice for late flight arrivers in Male
My inbound flight to Male landed at night, it did not make sense (financially) to go to the resort island at that hour. At $100 it offered an acceptable B&B, with a 10-min drive (transport chargeable at $10 per way).

Good Hotel near Airport
Nice place near hotel. Rooms are comfortable and well furnished but very small. Very close to beach. The best part about the hotel is their restaurant. The food is amazing, though a bit on the expensive side (which i think applies to everywhere in Maldives). You have supermarkets nearby and a bus stop just opposite to the hotel. Hotel staff is very supportive and friendly. They even made contact with our resort staff on their own to sync for airport drop. Hats off to their network and courtesy !

What a Great Little Hotel!
My wife and I needed one night stay in Male since we arrived late and were heading to one of the islands for the next week. This hotel, though small, and located on the airport's island was just perfect for what we needed. Very clean, comfortable bed, great shower. It is not a 5 star hotel, but it served the purpose, and the customer service from all of the staff working there it's awesome!!! The people there are soooo nice! They will contact you before you arrive on the Maldives in order to arrange for your pick up at the airport which is only $ 10 each way. Breakfast is included and it was a great normal breakfast. Nice eggs and toasts, O.J and fruit. The hotel has no elevator, since it is a 3 or 4 story building, but they will gladly help you with your bags upstairs. Rooms are small, and the walls are thin, but like I said, I would highly recommend this hotel for someone needing a one night stay near the airport.

Modern inn close to the airport
We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting family on a different island. We were pleasantly surprised by the updated renovated bathroom, strong AC and free breakfast. The beds are single and the room a little cozy but it had everything we needed inside including a very strong deadbolt. Our plane was early our second morning and figured we wouldnt get breakfast however they provided a wake up call telling us that our breakfast was ready. This was a very nice surprise. Note prices are in US$ and can only be paid in usd by credit card and you are charged 3.5% more. This was frustrating because you cant pay cash when all atms on the island dispense Maldivian rufiyahs. This is a solid budget option or airport transfer hotel. The beaches in this area are for the locals so all females are fully covered even in the water.

Friendly staff picked us up at the hotel and gave us a lot of background info on the islands. Room was very clean, staff helpful and friendly. Restaurant next door was convenient and good.

Good stay before seaplane
This little hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We were picked up a car and it took 10 minutes to the hotel from airport. We enjoyed a good sleep and prepped good strength for the seaplane next day.

There are probably better options
We stayed here one night while waiting for our seaplane transfer to Koomandoo. I wouldn't recommend staying any longer (although I'm not sure anyone ever stays longer on Hulhumale). There is really nothing in the neighborhood and the hotel itself is just barely adequate for one night's sleep. Also - be warned that you must pay them directly - Hotels.com does not take payment. There was some confusion on my part over this issue (the site says this when you book, but after booking a dozen other hotels that weren't this way, I didn't realize it).

Very homey feel
They greeted us with smiles and are very friendly. Rooms are generally clean and cosy. The hotel doesn't have lifts because its just a few floors high. Walking distance to the public beach where the waters are as clear as ever! The surroundings are still under development; therefore you'll see some undeveloped sights. It is pretty hot so don't forget to bring shades!

Good choice amongst the cheaper hotels
We stayed in Newtown Inn the night before going to resort. Staff are friendly, very helpful, clean rooms, very good Indian food downstairs . Closed by the sea in just 5 minutes walk. There is nothing to see in the neighborhood as the whole Hulhumale is full of construction sites of hotels. A good choice for overnight stay.

A good hotel if you want to be near the airport. Rates are competitive and services are excellent. However, the free bicycle rental was non existent due to certain issues. Breakfast was reasonable although the spread is somewhat limiting.

Room is smaller than expected. However, service is excellent. we need to be at the airport by 5:30AM and they still offer us the included breakfast @ 5:00am.

The staff was very nice, but many problems with the room, internet and TV is cutting off a lot, the rooms are not sound proof so you hear everything around you we had a baby crying for 1.5 hours in the morning so we didnt get a good sleep at all,

Great for a night before transferring to resorts
Newtown inn was lean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and extremely competent. They ran rings around the staff at the island resorts where you pay the best part of 1000usd a night. Our plane got in late and it was midnight when we made it to the hotel. I couldn't see the point in staying at the resort and wasting 1000 just for arriving there in the middle of the night. So we stayed the first night at Newtown inn. The breakfast in the morning was adequate and tasty. They had organised transfers for us to the island we were going to. Someone I had sent 5 emails to that Islands management, only to still have them fail to organise my transfers. So in essence, I could not speak higher of Newtown inns staff and management.

Super service und sehr komfortabel
Super freundliches und hilfsbereiten Personal. Zimmer sind sauber und die Betten super bequem mit ordentlichem Kopfkissen und Decke. Tee und Kaffee Station vorhanden und kostenfrei. Lage ist zwar an der Hauptstraße aber nahe beim Bushaltestelle zum Flughafen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

En pärla med bra placering i öriket.
Elva nätter på hotellet med frukost var perfekt p.g.a. av placering, 50 meter från stranden med snorkling, bra start för olika utflykter och 15 min. promenad till färjeterminal var man kunde åka med båt till grandön, Male, huvudstaden
