Clean modern hotel
Clean and modern hotel, friendly helpful staff and good breakfast buffet selection. Spa was expensive to use for 1 hour (€20pp) and wasn’t in good condition.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were really comfortable and the breakfast was great. Great value for money and worked well for our family.

AmaZing , facilities are fab with the pool but you must pay for the spa. Friendly staff and beds and rooms are so warm and cosy.

The tiles at the bathroom, were not clean, windows do not shut properly, balcony area was not cleaned and the chair there was broken. The most stressfull thing is that I put my Oyster card, next to the door, inside where you keep the card to have electricity inside. Probably the cleaning staff took it. I still had money on it . I reported it at front desk but no efford from them to bother find who took it. Shameless

The location is central and restaurants just are around. the room is ok and big enough for a couple. the service should be more professional and polite to tell all the things about the hotel. Tatally it is a good choice in this village.

stayed in summer when only open for 4 days around cycle event. staff friendly but appeared to have limited knowledge, it felt as if they were shipped in for the few days with little training. Breakfast awful and whole place looked like bomb site. In 30 mins stay not a single table was cleared and ready for reuse. Curtains broken and unable to provide maintainence during our 3 day stay. Additional room provided but spent time moving between 2. rooms were well furnished and clean. Will not be returning. Disappointing

Dear Guest, We thank you for your feedback following your stay at the hotel Royal Ours Blanc. We are very sorry to hear that you did not appreciate your stay and that you considered the breakfast place as "a bomb site" . Our staff, friendly as you said, did their best to propose a quality breakfast even at 4 o'clock in the morning for the race day. The hotel was fully booked and so when everybody comes at the same hour, our waiter needs a few minutes to set the tables to welcome our guests in good conditions. For the technical problem you met in your room and we apologize for that, we found a solution by offering you a second room without asking you any supplement which was a significant commercial gesture. We propose you to keep the room with the brocken curtain for your luggage and bike storage which was a good compromise for you. We are a bit surprised about your negative return about this point. However, as our goal is the well-being and the satisfaction of our guests, we hope to welcome you again to one of our hotels in Alpe d'Huez to show you, that our staff can be more than "friendly with limited knowlegde" but also good professionnals beeing attentive to our guests' needs. Nice modern hotel close to all village facilities
Family room pretty small, ok for a w.e., would not fit us for longer period. Breakfast good, they even accepted to serve it ahead of time since we needed to leave at 7 the hotel. Not private parking available, but easy to park (off-season) close to the hotel.

We had a room on the 4th floor. The mini bar fridge was empty and did not get cold. We complained twice so they removed the fridge from our room. Sound proofing of hotel is not good and our room was on a road which was very busy from 1 to 5.30 am each morning. We actually checked out a day earlier than planned as we were not getting a good nights sleep.

Dear guest, The mini bar fridge contains normally 2 bottles of water: one still and one sparkling. It might be a forget and we are sorry about it. Our technician has removed your fridge to fix the problem but it has taken more time to solve it. For a future stay, i you need a more quiet room, do not hesitate to ask for a upper-floor room. Would not return. Hotel staff friendly and pleasant but the overall hotel experience was disappointing. A lot of promise, but the hotel is dysfunctional in too many aspects. Room was large but actual accommodation area was too small. Far too much allocation of space to dead space in the bathroom and corridor. The food had great potential but badly let down by poor and disorganised service. Appetiser buffet was sparse and frequently poorly presented. This may have been due to the hotel's focus on a large party of families who took over but this should not have allowed our experience to have been so negative. Hotel Manager did acknowledge this issue but this did not alter our experience. It should also be noted that the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna is and additional 24 Euros per couple per hour. There is limited space and requires advanced booking. This is not clear when booking the hotel so worth noting.

As we exchanged on the spot, we regret the inconvenience you encountered during your stay due to the presence of a group. Our waiters were indeed disorganized by this group whose members were changing tables several times during the meal. It was very difficult for us to follow orders. In order to reduce their impact on your stay, we offered you to dine in our upstairs restaurant or to shift your dinner schedule. We also offered you access to the spa to apologize for any inconvenience. Regarding your room, we regret not having this information on the spot because we would have offered to change rooms with great pleasure. Indeed, you have benefited from a room adapted for people with reduced mobility that offers a larger area but is proportionately different than our classic rooms. Finally, our wellness area is at extra cost as indicated on our site as well as the booking sites. Its access is limited to 6 people per hour to maintain its intimate character. Despite these inconveniences, we hope to have the pleasure to welcome you again so that we can satisfy you during a future stay on the Alpe d'Huez.

Comfortable & spacious
We stayed at this hotel for a week in February - it was comfortable, the room was spacious (mountain view on the top floor), and the staff were attentive. Good selection of breakfast buffet options, whilst the evening menus had more variety, i.e. different dishes each day. Shops and restaurants are nearby, and the 'lobster pots' lifts are within walking distance. Would stay here again if we return to Alpe d'Huez.

Summer break in the Alps
My husband wanted to cycle Alpe D'huez - this hotel was available and looked 'fine' to us. It absolutely fulfilled all our expectations and more. Spacious, clean, great facilities, friendly, helpful staff - we could not have asked for more. Brilliantly located at the top of the mountain. Spectacular views. Shops and restaurants all within walking distance. While my husband cycled I drove down to Bourg D'Oisan, the public out door swimming pool is fantastic - €3 for the day! We will definitely return!

The hotel is definitely not 4 star. I know that it was only open for the week 9for La Marmotte) but i anticipated something really nice for the money that i was charged. Perfectly ok if you are paying less than half the amount i was charged per night....then expectations would have been much lower. Room very very basic and standard of decor throughout hotel was shabby.

Hôtel magnifique, superbe vue de la chambre. J’adore le concept de la grotte autant au self qu’au niveau de la piscine. Cependant à l’arrivée très déçue de l’accueil, nous sommes arrivés chargés après notre journée de ski on a du demander un charriot pour transporter nos affaires qu’on a amené nous-mêmes à notre chambre. Aucune explications concernant la position du spa, du self et autres ni sur les horaires d’ouvertures… ce n’est pas le standing que nous attendons pour un hôtel 4 étoiles. Par contre pour le petit déjeuner nous avons été très bien accueillis par un jeune homme très sympathique, le buffet fut très bon rien à dire.

Nous sommes déçu par l’établissement pour plusieurs raisons : Le personnel d’accueil ne connaissait pas tout le site (casier à ski par exemple) Les lits n’étaient pas propre : poils dans le lit et cheveux sur les coussins (nous avons dû changer de chambre) Le petit déjeuner manquait de produit frais pour un tél Etablissement et n’était pas bon (omelette par exemple) Les personnel voulait nous faire payer alors que le séjour était déjà réglé Il n’y avait pas de bouteille d’eau dans toutes les chambres

Bonsoir Bertrand, Je vous remercie pour votre retour. Je suis désolée pour les petits désagréments. Effectivement nous ne proposons pas de glaces, peut être, devrions nous nous y mettre. En revanche nous proposons un large choix de desserts maison au restaurant et de gaufres maison au bar. Pour le Room service, nous ne mettons pas de cartes en chambre mais sommes tout à fait enclin à servir en chambre les plats du restaurant. Pour nos tisanes, nous avons commandé un plus large choix récemment. Au plaisir de vous revoir à nouveau. Bien cordialement. La Direction

Hotel de très bonne qualité avec de bonnes presta
L'hotel est de très bonne qualité, bonne prestation, personnel à l'écoute. La chambre est confortable et spacieuse, le petit déjeuner est très bien. Seul bémol, la situation géographique pour le ski et un peu de bruit.

Mooie week maar teleurstellend de hotel ligging
Hotel was ons als vervangend hotel toegewezen. Dit hotel lag duidelijk verder af dan de plek waar we geboekt hadden en dat werd ons pas bij aankomst middels een aanplakbiljet bekend gemaakt. Dit vinden en vonden we gezien de niet misselijke prijs van de kamers teleurstellend. Daarnaast hadden we bewust voor het ander hotel gekozen ivm de directe nabijheid voor het evenement waarvoor we naar Alpe 'd Huez waren gereisd. Dat is wel erg jammer en daarom naar alle waarschijnlijkheid NIET voor herhaling vatbaar.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en amoureux au mois de Mars Quartier commerçant et vivant avec pleins de petits resto sympas Hôtel assez loin des piste mais navette gratuite tous les quart d'heure, local à ski disponible dans l'hôtel Piscine très agréable après une journée de ski Chambre spacieuse et propre, grand balcon avec une très belle vue sur les montagnes Petit déjeuner en buffet, très varié. Nous aurions juste apprécié un peu plus de produits frais, en effet nous avons eu l'impression qu'il y avait beaucoup de produits surgelés ce qui est dommage pour un hôtel de cette gamme.
