Cottage no. 3 was updated inside and nice and clean. Complaints screens on windows had holes that allowed small bugs in that created a gross mess around the sink area. The chairs on the deck were in rough shape and falling apart..could not use the arms as nails rotted out. Barbecue but had to ask for tank and utensils where if bbq incld think that should already be done. We had two bedroom cottage, we had been upgraded because there was a mistake on our reservation but we got a place to sleep so no worries. Marina right across the street and guests have access to the Anchorage dock, kayaks and rowboats. We couldn't indulge because it was raining but very nice extra. My only complaint is we wanted to leave at 8:30 am and the office was closed until 9 am. I wasn't sure if they needed to see me again or if we were paid up so I didn't want to leave and I didn't see a "key drop" so we hung around. It would be helpful if they told you want to expect when you check in. Nice to go out to see the sights and return for pool and relax time. Cabins well appointed, nice pool, kayaks a fun touch for the kids. Close to grocery store and coffee house in walking distance. Not cottages where you're at all "roughing it", featuring just enough modern touches (such as actually being heated and having a pretty generous hot water supply), the only issue I can imagine anyone having is if they're particularly sensitive to an old mattress.
